| Ah Kaori, she's still a vulnerable girl deep down inside, especially on an emotional level. At least she has Hajime who trusts her. It looks like the royal capital has became a target and honestly, not surprising given its reputation and status at this point. Glad to see Hajime and his group reunite again. He and Kaori seems to have also grown much closer this episode. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| I liked Hajime a lot this episode, it is nice to see a MC with a clear mind, resolution and who knows who he wants as a partner unlike the usual bunch of self insert wuzz characters, my biggest problem is actually with Yue and how boring she actually is. |

| More illusions in play, and both Hajime and Kaori continue to experience fears of play with facing the ship's past of a racial peace treaty party go awry with the god-cum-creator Ehit, from a mere spirit possessing Kaori but leaving Hajime unfazed until her inner self-exorcism. Kaori may have loved Hajime, confessed and confirmed with a kiss, even though she know that he has only Yue in his heart. The competition for Best Girl might be old, but the gang of girls swarm Hajime like bees ready for mating. Onto the next corner, and the same Devourer monster is back, and Hajime and Co. are in need of a Plab B to subjugate that monster. But to think that Seaman Leh-san would come to their aid, sure as hell didn't expect him to come, probably the last time we'll see of him. As for the other classmates, more than Aiko going to the Divine Mountain and haven't made her way back, she's gonna be a tool for the demon lords. The build-up starts now. |

| The massacre at the party was portrayed really brutally. Leh-san! Totally forgot about him. One of Hajime's first friends after coming to Tortus. That Kaori confession... At least she isn't doubting herself anymore when it comes to her feelings. Ai-chan-sensei is in trouble. :( |

| These past two episodes have been the best pacing wise since the first 4-5 episodes of season 1. I wish this series leaned more into this side of its narative rather than its fights. Especially since badly animated fights with, admitedly better than S1, CGI enemies that are sitting stationary for most of their screen time is hardly what I'd call riveting television. It's a shame that the character focused episodes like these are so underappreciated by portions of the fanbase. |

| made it out of the labyrinth safely and reunited with an old time friend that helped take down a devourer. Kaori using her alone time with Hajime to make her move but got possessed while she was at it lol. They are now aware of the mysterious hypnotic faction after seeing that slaughter of beastpeople on the ship, we also see that some of the students are locked away by hypnotized personnel which will eventually catch up with Hajime as a boss battle at the end? |
| So Kaori made up her mind eh. The images of those where from the past. Its horrible how that human who looks like a kind massacred innocents. The moment that old man who looks like a king appeared with a mysterious hooded person, I knew it was bad news. Also nice to see Leh, the fish back. |
| The night and day difference in how Hajime treats Leh-san (despite this being the third time they meet) as a good friend to how trash he treats most others (even Shea and Tio) is kinda funny. |
