Does anyone think that this season of Yami Shibai will be the last season?

The reason is when one watches the ending scene, the guy who wears the mask takes it off and it starts moving, maybe indicating that this will be the last season.

Do you think this will be the final season or do you think there will be a few more seasons?

Even though this is a horrible mediocre show, I still hope there will be more seasons.

I think it's obvious this is the last season.
In the intro nobody is watching his theater anymore and he sounds very off, and in the ending he just take off the mask and leaves the stage.

Also we have to note the title of some of the episodes having Last or End in the title.

And the fact that clearly, the theme of the season seems to be "End" (Like in Season 8 we have the theme about fear in something you can't see or Season 9 with the Chinese Zodiac).
-Episode 1 was about a guy who wants to exit from his job.
-Episode 2 was about the children finishing their father's will.
-Episode 3 was about a girl that stop seeing another girl, who results to be a ghost in a
signboard and maybe end the girl's life at the end (depending on your view of what
happens)
-Episode 4 was about the last train, that seems to get you to the other world.
-Episode 5 was about the last client in a restaurant.
-Episode 6 was about a girl losing her boyfriend because she didn't undertand a tradition.

If this is really the last season I hope one thing, just one thing, the last episode must be about the narrator himself.

I would like that as well, as we never see his face, only the mask, maybe it is because he is in a contract with someone that he has fulfilled his part of the contract that he is now has his freedom.

The narration in that season was unsalvageable but 7-9 had some terrible storytelling as well.

I have a feeling this is the last season. If you listen to the ED, the singer sounds like he's being held at gunpoint. The only time I saw it subtitled was in episode 2. Here are the lyrics:

"Ah
"What a load of crap
"Ah
"Please let me end this
"Yeah"

Yami Shibai isn't really something I enjoy per se, it's something I watch because it's really short and I've been watching it for 8 years now.

On the nights a new ep is released, I sit in my room in the dark with my cat and watch it. Then I leave a comment on whatever site's episode page with my thoughts and a description of what my cat did while it was on. She's been "watching" Yami Shibai with me since I started.

There have been a couple of scary eps this season, but it's mainly the usual drek.

I think this is the last season. The narrator sounds "lazy" to me
on this season.

I still had fun watching this even though the quality of the story degraded over time.
I really enjoyed season 1 and 2.

So this is the last season that Yami Shibai doing, it had its ups and downs, but it was good.

If this really is the end of it, then I gotta say: I’m sad it’s going, and I loved it the entire time. I wish more people enjoyed it the way I do - maybe I can get a friend or two to watch it with me.

Fingers crossed we get something in 2023, but considering the general reception... I don’t know if it’s likely. Ah well, it isn’t like it’s made for western audiences anyway.

There is Ninja Collection, but so far there has only been 1 season, hopefully, there will be more.
