I saw a lot of the viewers disagree with what the MC is doing rn. I mean

. But IMO he should've helped out in the "mating" process too as well as an insurance. I mean

. But I think its was too optimistic and risky what if the plan was to fail? Probably I'm being too negative. But I think u get my point.

What do YOU think he should've done?

I think you're right. Definitely should have/be assisting with mating WHILE working on vaccine. Never bad to have a plan B.

He did save the world at the end this way or the another.. Like always, Humans are good for themselves. It's his right to do whatever he wants but having a responsibility to rebuild the whole male species.. He should have done that while doing a research for the Vaccine

this series is one of those series where u must act like the mc never exist,his character is basically those virgin loser who said they dont care about girl and sex but actually just unpopular,and his excuses here to create "vaccine" the truth is he is a dumb virgin loser that cant even put it in the right hole even though they literally spoonfed him.

I think he is ok, definitely not good but holy, I don't even start to get the hate he gets. He hasn't done anything bad for the hate he gets, sure, he sometimes is dumb like he got out of the car mid explanation. But he is being faithful "saving himself" for the girl he likes (which seems she also likes him), and he already agreed to have sex if he doesn't find her even if the time is a month.

Also, I'm sure the fact that searching/finding for a vaccine to cure the MK Virus is far more useful than mating in the long run. So again, I don't get the hate he gets.

"World's End" is beyond a martial law scenario [see 'apocalypse']. Reito Mizuhara has no rights as an individual. He is an ASSET. Non compliance to mating would likely be followed by bed bondage and round-the-clock mating as much as his body would allow. Reference- Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: [magicians] "they are treated as a commodity" wikipedia. IMHO, it's likely how he would have found himself on awakening since he wouldn't neccessarily need to be conscious to perform.

The problem is that he can do both, but refuses to. There's no guarantee a vaccine would work, so him outright refusing to mate, which at the very least is a guarantee, makes him the most idiotic human being on the planet.

she obviously needed it, but his self-control ruined what could have been a powerful moment, perhaps even essential to the anime overall.
