Anyone else feel like Made In Abyss is one of the best anime of all time?

I’ve seen almost 400 anime and Made In Abyss is easily one of the best anime of all time.

The world-building, music, characters, mysteries, plot twists, antagonists, and just the general uncertainty of what will happen next - these are almost unparalleled in other anime.

What do you think?

If it can stay as good as the last few episodes of its 1st season for most of its upcoming episodes and doesn't have a disappointing ending then sure.

Nah, but it is really good. If you feel like you wanna go on an adventure this is the perfect anime. Shoutout to Kevin Penkin for always making great music, which is in this and Tower of God

The anime and films are truly gorgeous and expertly made. There’s quite a lot to love there, so it’s a fair opinion!

I’d be more inclined to say that the manga is one of the best manga of all time tbh and the adaptations are, so far, an amazing effort.

Not really it had some incredible episodes but overall it wasn’t the best thing ever. If it continues as good as the end of season 1 and the movie though it could be up there.

I 100% agree. I rated it a 9 for both the anime and movie, because there were some things I did not like about the story at times, but my enjoyment was a 10. After I rewatched the movie, my whole view on it changed because I realised that it's very cool and well done. I'm still shocked at how there are like only 5 scenes of CGI. MiA is my favourite anime.

I was just telling everyone this today. Best anime ever. If you get the chance read the manga too. Its just as amazing. Honestly its so enjoyable to go through the whole story again. I just finished vol 3 and it ends with the mitty scene and nanachi. The manga hits just as hard as the anime does. Cant wait for the next season. I wish i was lucky enough to have seen the movies in theaters

It’s one of my top 20 anime of all time. And nothing i have ever watched has come close to the feeling of awe and adventure this show gives. You really feel the landscapes and the hidden dangers “nature” has to show us. Nothing could come close to what makes Made In Abyss unique in my mind

Yeah I’ve only seen the first season and the movie and it’s in my top 10. With all the potential it has it can definitely become the greatest but atm I don’t think it’s the best.

Made in Abyss is amazing but it isn’t the best anime ever. The fact is, the best anime ever doesn’t exit, but you know what does? The best anime IYO does. Let’s just leave it at that and enjoy the show.

I feel the same and i think the Adaptions are very good, not even better. I think that just the "uncomfortableness" puts of many viewer that anime sometimes intends.i just really hooe it gets a good finish! And I am really excited for the upcoming arc that gets adapted
