| I enjoyed this a lot. It wasnt perfect by far but i was not bored and i enjoyed it. 7 or 8/10 cant decide… cause of the fast pace and some holes and animation things. But in the end enjoyment, the struggle and beautiful progress and paintings are what count. Just that the characters didnt shine enough for me, i think the manga will be an 8-10 for sure :) but i would love to see more. Just less rushed if it was 24 eps i think would work better Edit: went with 7 for now |

| Loved this. Binged the whole thing in a day. I enjoyed it quite a bit and it resonated with me cause I also like to do art. I do wish there was more episodes so it could have been slowed down a bit. While I do like the fast pace and results were actually being achieved to be seen. I would've like more of the side characters to be fleshed out more and more details put into scenes to show more depth. |

| I thought this anime was so beautiful! I loved the characters and the art style was beautiful (apart from the spots here and there where the animation was less than impressive). I really liked that not everyone got the happy ending that was expected but then that's real life y'know? I would definitely love to see a season 2 and I will absolutely be checking out the manga! |

| 6.5 but i was generous and gave it a 7. says ryoiji is a main character but we never saw him that much besides the last few episodes in the drama scene. very disappointing. so the guys last painting was like a copy paste of the entire room everyone was painting in and he passed for that? lol??? 90% of the paintings look like what old people have in their 10 million dollar mansions since they all look like dog shit random shapes and stuff put together. who actually drew these? |

| I've never had a super big appreciation of art itself, and I'm glad that I decided to watch this anime. Blue Period was so transformative and personal, from the emotions, animation and music really made me reflect on my own life so far. Good anime. |

| despite being pretty inconsistent with how talented he is, it was a nice chill anime. One second he's effortlessly drawing like a prodigy, next he's constantly improving but still considered not good enough to pass & constantly told he doesn't get/understand some aspect of art and there's some inherent wrong with his pieces. but the characters and drama was good, I actually felt myself wanting a bit more romance in the story, which is a bit rare. Maybe just because I liked the pairing of the MC & Ryuji. also wtf are hives, it looked like just skin irritation/skin rash. |

| Everything went a bit too fast and I still don't get why Yaguchi kept ranting about other people having talent and him having to work so hard, but someone without a talent would never go from never having painted to passing uni entrance exams in a year like he did, no matter how much work they put into it. |
