 I really like anime because of the fantastic artwork, and I find that they often have an interesting depth to them. I am most interested in anime movies, although I've started to watch series since I joined MAL. I'm interested in anime with themes of personal growth, art, questions about oneself and society, and dystopian futures. I have a blog post with a list of all the anime movies I've watched, organized by director, and rating of how I liked them. Most of these I've added to my anime list on MAL. Personality type is INFJ. Gen-X. I also study Japanese, and I like drawing. I'm kind of new to forums, so I'm just finding my way around. I sit by the window, third from the front. |

Yeah, it was a great commentary on the more sinister facets of humanity, and the systematic manipulation and control by individuals in power. Ahh, thinking about the plot still gives me chills! :)
Oh, you're welcome! From what you've told me, you seem to be a fan of seinen/thrillers. I too am a fan of seinen/thrillers as well :)
If you ever want more recommendations, I'm open to helping out, I'm pretty passionate about anime haha :)
Oh and here's a correction: "The first psycho pass anime (not movie) was absolutely enthralling and gripping.... but I can't say the same about the movies or sequels that come with it"
