| i find it funny that body horror is okay by japanese standards but god forbidden someone drops an f bomb and it has to be censored. jesus christ. also, it's unfortunate that japan doesn't care about the opinion of westerners bc if they did i wish someone would tell them to knock it off with the random engrish. its so cringey. theyre doing my boy tsuda so bad with all this cringe engrish in his script. like okay i get that this takes place in america but lord almighty i just absolutely dont see the point of engrish. also it seems like this show is just gonna keep introducing and then throwing aside new characters? like none of the characters from the first episode are gonna show up again? are we gonna get to see those 3 dopes from last episode(?) again? feels like one of those pieces of media where the writers keep introducing new side characters and then have no idea what to do with the other side characters . are we gonna keep seeing the characters from this episode after they pull off this gig? will keep watching but i just had to get this off my chest edit: i cant spell |

| Josh is an interesting character and damn that voice suits him so well. Things will get real chaotic soon since Jonny came up with that plan C. But I wish Jonny's previous buddies were in this too. Frost, the teleport guy and the bad luck guy were such a fun bunch. |
| Sammy was surprisingly useless in this rescue mission with his suicide dive compared to Roddy who was facing the Gladiator on his own (nice body horror animation we got to see there). |

| It does feel a bit jarring that they try so hard to establish that this is an American story with American characters based in America, with all the engrish and that god-awful whistle every time something interests the MC. Yeah, we got that in the very first episode, that was enough groundwork with that. It just feels kitschy beyond that point, and ironically the more you hammer home the point of this story happening in the West the less organic it feels. Like how a Japanese person thinks life in America looks like. Don't know why I latched onto this subject so hard, but I feel like when overseas series do this odd USA overglorifying thing on the constant something has to be said. Oh yeah, I'm also well aware that this is based on a Marvel production (thus practically American) written by a Scot and a Filipino if that was ever in question. |

| I'm starting to think that Transmit would have also been a good member to have on this heist team. Ghost's powers don't seem to extend beyond him, if they did that might have been useful freeing TK. |
