| This show's worst mistake is the transitions. We went from fingernail torture last episode to a cheery scene with rapping and the Goddess. They also showed zero development for Maha. She goes from a timid and kind soul to a cold assassin. What happened to get her to this stage? Did the show's writers just omit it due to there being only 12 eps? I know I am nitpicking but those horses stick out like a sore thumb. I just can't with those horses lol. Lugh, it's clear Maha likes you in a romantic way bro. Offering to pleasure you after a wet dream doesn't sound like only admiration... At least Lugh made his mind up and decided he loves Dia. I can't tell if it's real tho |

| This sudden confession that Luig loves Dia is the only thing I find weird in this series. Because A) Up until this point Dia has had very little screentime and they just seemed like friends and B) Luig has shown 0 signs of being in love with Dia then he's suddenly confessing he loves her. Other than that great series. |

| Lugh trained Maha into a weak little girl to a full grown fighter, as he did with Tarte. Now the girls are safe. Now he wants to marry Dia? he got his priorities straight ngl |
| Not a big suprise on Lugh planning to marry Dia as he has no feelings for Tarte and Maha who are just his servants compared to Dia whom he actually befriended and has a close relation to. |

| So left being a Balor leave the business to Maha eh. Gonna miss her for now. Its nice to see the mother again. He still wants to continue to be an assassin. I'm surprise his father wants him to leave a life outside the world of assassins, but he still wants to be in. I'm surprise he loves Dia. But I'm sure Maha and Tarte loves him too. I'm hoping he actually marries the three girls in the future. |

| I like that his father has given him an actual choice now that he acknowledge him as an adult at 14 years old, to either succeed him and their family's aristocratic assassin status including the uncertain future of being disavowed of their position or just become a plain but wealthy and successful merchant as another career choice. |

| Them realising he has only feelings for Dia and still staying is what makes this situation different than most. On other hand him having father for the first time and speaking from his heart as his actual son is incredible to see. |

| Finally back to the main story. Lugh's first mission incoming. He choose Dia and well i feel that. Explosion girl often be the main choice of MC, interesting. Should be more action after this. |
| Dia? Really? They've barely interacted so far, so I forgot about her. Maybe she'll be a more prominent recurring character now. |

| Dia being his favorite isn't a surprise. Plenty of signs up to now. he purposely visits her once a month. They hang out a lot and research spells. He clearly smiles genuinely and have a good time with her. And in the early episodes; he started off facing away from her when sleeping. But at the end, they both leaned in to each other when asleep; a sign of how they got closer. But with Maha and Tarte, he never did that. He sleeps dead center and never got close to either. I just interpret that as meaning there is greater distance between those two than him and Dia. Besides, most anime have the first girl win anyways. That said, my favorite is Maha. She looks the most mature. the scarf hanging off the turtle neck with long hair gaahhhh! So pretty. Also I like her voice the most too, not too moe high pitched like Tarte. Not only that, she takes care of her friends, and is a intelligent person. She's also just seriously badass and doesn't rely on powerful magic like Dia. Also, she's pretty sharp and acknowledges that she might had only been picked by Lugh due to her mana. Additionally, her back story is one I felt the most connection with. She spent TWO years in the "orphanage" and they dedicated an entire episode to it. Tarte and Dia never got that same treatment. The show instead focused more on their time with Lugh. Maha felt like she have her own story and her character independent of Lugh. This is further emphasized how she and her friends are the ones who mainly run Orna. I would prefer her infatuation with Lugh to be toned down, but she's not even the worse offender (Tarte is) and the issue is sort of omnipresent anyways. Lugh is cool and all, but we really don't need all the "kyaa, he so amazing" from everyone all the time. it also bothered me that one fanservice scene where Maha offered herself to Lugh. I just personally think a attempted r*pe victim would be more reserved about that. And that scene (and sleeping on the same bed with a male in general) just threw her character off. Tarte is fine. But the fanservice ruins Maha for me a little. |

| Overall Merchant arc was ok. I guess it showed how good Lugh can be at handling a business and creating contracts, how the current world suffered from no moisturizer for all these years, Maha, and how cruel the world can be. I really liked how Lugh's father really offered Lugh a chance out of the assassin life into the successful merchant life he just created before he got blood on his hands, it felt like genuinely one of the kindest acts, on top of the other kind acts, his father could do for him. At first i really did think it was gonna be a last minute test to whether Lugh's faith to the kingdom would waver after experiencing the good life, but turns out his father also used the opportunity to create a safe future for him if he got backstabbed by the kingdom. Also how he offered Lugh a chance out of the assassin life and said he understand if he took it i think also spoke volumes about Lugh's father and his priorities. Didn't also expect Lugh's pledge of love and eventual marriage of Dia at all, knowing him it probably has an underlining and deeper reason behind it that will assist with his later plan, with maybe the smallest tint of emotion? I'd be very surprised though if it was an emotionally driven decision. Either way i'm happy for them and i'm sure Dia would be as well lol, also the term "aristocratic assassin" is kinda badass. |
