86 is just airing the 1st season, who knows their fate will be also the same with more season coming. Also, I highly doubt 86 will be A-1 picture focus and it will be getting as many content as SAO. SAO is still the biggest money maker to them and one of the rarest luckiest show with plenty of content. Only time they messed with adaptation was at the later part of the Alicization where they skipped so many Asuna scene. Beside that they have been doing genuine job, also you cannot expect neck to neck adaptation everytime when the arcs are very long. Tbh there are barely any series which have perfect adaptation, they always skim a lot because of the time and budget constraints.I am also disappointed but it's fair enough and makes lot of sense. In addition, Author have already made thinks clear. It is just a matter of time when we get 2,3,4 adapted when the elf war is finished, hope I will not be that old during that time😂

No, I'm taking a shot at A1 Pictures horrendous decision making. They are the most incompetent studio I ever witnessed. The only redeeming thing from them, is Kaguya-sama. I don't care about 86 tho.

what's the point to adapt some cool side stories from Aincrad if you're gonna skip it? Just go pick volume 1, read it and make an anime movie script. Some people are just incompetent
