| 7.60? It's, personally, the most underrated anime I've watched. I gave it a 9/10. I know there's an stigma against bishounen sports anime, and KyotoAni is responsible for the most popular one of them all (Free Iwatobi). I've watched a good deal of anime like them and Tsurune was nothing like that. The amount of class in this anime blew me away. Dialogues were as polished as it gets, character interactions were as genuine as it gets. The way the sport was represented seemed incredibly interesting to me, what an amazing sport this is, I wanna play it. The animation was perfection, the OP is a masterpiece, and the character development hits hard. I feel like I can go on forever about it. I've seen a lot of anime based on LN but I almost never get the "book feel" from them. When a good book is scripted properly, the writing in dialogues and inner thoughts tends to be really eloquent. Violet Evergarden was like that, Hyouka was like that, and Tsurune is like that; I can't really think of other examples out of the ones I've watched (not just KyotoAni, I mean in general). This anime really stood out to me in most ways. It's one of my favorites. Do you all feel the same way about it? |

| Tsurune was pretty good. I wasn't certain about it at first, but it improved in later episodes. Also, Masa-san is one hot piece of ass. |
