| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- after not seeing them in so long, Gary being very buddy buddy with Ash without insulting him and Charizard not burning Ash to a crisp threw me off lol i did pop for MUK and that Tracy shoutout lol the 3v1 battle with Moltres was pretty good…was hoping Inferape would challenge Go’s Cinderace since it was obsessed with fighting fellow fire types |
| Are they doing a spin off with the Mew exploration? Quite interesting how Ash & Gary knew Go wasnt at their lvl when moltres attacked. They also had a shout of Paul. |

| Satoshi's old pokemons and Goukazaru!! I miss Shigeru-kun. I miss characters with such personalities. Hope to see him more. I'm hyped in the project mew arc. I really hoped more old characters will appear in the future. I want to see Haruka, Masato, Hikari, Dent, Eureka, Citron and Serena!! And rivals of Satoshi too. |

| The Mew project seems interesting, it's great to see them back at Oak's laboratory with Garry, I was happy to see most of his previous pokemon, and even the tauros xD the battle against Moltres was good but also he was totally overpowered (probably level 100) since Burn Up is learned at level 99 for him. |

| I'm disappointed... Why the hell didn't Ash remember Pidgeot when Goh tried to capture a Pidgeotto!? xD Jokes aside, it was good to see Gary and Infernape again but the spotlight was clearly how broken that Moltres was lol Interesting fact, out of the three Kanto birds, Ash never won a battle against Moltres so far :P |

| Always love how some of the names are. Like Moltres is just. Fire. I get it's a legend, so it'd make sense. But can't help but laugh at that. |
| It's another episode that built Go's character. Like why have Goukazaru run away and want to battle Fire if you're going to have Shigeru (Gary) and Go get involved in the end? I thought the main objective of this episode was to make Goukazaru stronger, but the battle with it and Fire immediately turns into a 3 on 1. Shigeru getting the feather and Go wanting to join Project Mew were the biggest things to come out of this episode and it was actually disappointing imo considering Ash has been put on the back burner in this series for quite a while. He hasn't had a good battle in like 2 months. (Sir'Fetched evolution battle) |

| Ma Boi Gary is back! I felt very nostalgic seeing so many of Ash's Pokés after so many past adventures. The battle against Moltres was great and Project Mew looks quite promising :D... |

| probably the most fanservice episode so far, so many old pokemon and seeing gary. kinda saw goh ending up joining that project, though i feel there's too much story lines already, hope they would do them well. they doing it probably because there's going to be time before pokemon next main game, they must be planning to do this one really long. the battle against moltres was done well, that burn up was badass. |
| gary's voice felt really weird lol it didn't suit him but i guess he's prof oak's grandson so similar voice I guess I wished they showed us squirtle as well |

Ash says he was late to get his starter when Goh was 6 years old, but Ash started his adventure at 10 and has been 10 ever since, which they mentioned a few episodes back. So they just don't care at this point? Or rather, they never cared but now they're just throwing it in our faces how much they don't care. |

They were talking about when they had a summer camp at Oaks lab and not about him choosing his starter. :) If you rewatch the first or second episode of Journeys you can actually see what they were referring to. |
| A return to Oak Lab, Gary appears, Moltres fight, and Go gets a more formalized version of his goal to catch every Pokemon. It's always nice when the series recognizes just how far Ash has come on his journey |
| Was fun seeing all of Ash's Pokemon, Gary, Oak and just Pallet Town in general. |
