| Blah blah. Kawaki seems like an annoying character. So far, I'm definitely not looking forward to having to sit through whatever he has going for him-- which unfortunately ties in to the plot. You can't hook me with nice visuals alone. If I don't care about the character then I don't care about the fight either. That's it. "Oooo who is thiiis?? Look at how strong they are!! MYSTERY!!" is not enough to pique my interests either. I'm already exasperated. I really hope they get it cleared up that they're not who he thinks they are soon, because it's just annoying when a lot of the interaction with him is based off of that misunderstanding. Like can we...?? Can we move on from that, please? Heck, that could have been cleared up a while ago. |

| I'm no expert on what counts as good or bad animation, but I'm kinda bothered that it changed too drastically in one episode. Everything just looked so different, that even I, who rarely notice these things, noticed it :| It's not better or worse. It's just.... different. |

| Kawaki looked badass in this episode. Garou got roasted and demolished. Good to see Boruto using the Karma seal again. |
| I think giving Konohamaru the manga afro for this episode was a stupid move. Consistency in design is important, and until now they've never designed him this way in the anime so it makes the whole episode feel like a strange fan animation. I get that they probably did this as an homage to Ikemoto, but I still think it was stupid and it distracted me the entire episode. Garo's face randomly turning into Zoidberg pink made no sense either. I think they were trying to make it look like he was angry, but the way it was done, it just looked like an error in the animation. Overall, after all the hype behind this episode, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed they wasted all these resources on a random Kawaki VS Garo fight. Why couldn't we have gotten animation like this for Team Kono VS Ao instead? The decision baffles me. 3/5. Animation was top notch, but it could have been used better in a different fight. Agreed.
