its about a flawless mc in fantasy world who destroys anyone who opposes him without any trouble over and over again while everyone goes crazy over his super duper wowie power strength and thats about it. I don't think the manga was bad but it was pretty simple and predictable. I dont expect anything incredible out of an adaptation.

At first, when I read the manga they got me intrigued. But now they seem to reapplying same old disclosure in the story which is boring compared to the big time shows. But tbf to them they have many disclosures on how things go and the entertainment are there to be enjoy. No high expectation, but I feel like I'll watch it and see how it goes

This is not a isekai the main character doesn't get reincarnated into another world he reincarnates into the same world but further into the future of the same world not a different 1. Not every character that reincarnates reincarnates into other worlds from a alternate version of earth.

Some expectations and a little bit of hype. This isn't an isekai technically, more of a rebirth into a later point in time.

Not really spoilers cause it'll be explained pretty early on, MC had trained for pretty much the entirety of his life to get his magic at the level it is, but he still had a almost literal ceiling imposed on him from birth due to the crest he was born with. I won't say any more related to the story, but there should be a reasonable amount of hype and expectations.

I have read the manga, NOT an isekai.
It's something far worse.

I don't know whether there's a name to refer to them but they're based around a fantasy world with a magic ranking system where the ranking/type has a visible mark on the body, MC has the weakest/ least apt one for being cool OP MC but become pretty succesful by the time they're an old sage that dies and reincarnates centuries into the future with the strongest ranking but everyone has gone herp-derp stupid and think the ranking is the reverse, magic ability has declined and now MC is OP as shit people still don't recognise it even after their amazing displays of power that far surpasses the peoples knowledge.

If you've read one you've read them all, they basically go through identical story beats, and feel like a incredibly cringe, pretentious, chuunibyou, "they don't know I'm the greatest" while in the corner at a house party meme, power fantasy.

These stories make even some of the lower end Isekai look like a revolution of creativity.

I dropped manga for this recently, a terrible example of modern isekai trash. "immortal, undefetable protag, who's like 14, finds 2 woman, instantly fall in love and now a harem doing impossible feats", I'm almost certain even author has no idea how the villains plots are supposed to work, so at some point he just sends protag over to one shot him and go back to random stuff which mostly involves romantic advances by one of the girls. just another 6/10 self insert trash isekai, safe to skip.

Well I wouldn't say it's one of the trash isekai, but it's definitely not one of the good ones either.

Technically not an isekai, but yeah I get that it follows the format that most standard isekai follow, just without the "modern day japanese high schooler".

The light novel was pretty subpar. And the anime is being done by J.C Staff. So, I'm not really expecting anything much.

Same set of tropes as any other and story without clear direction.
J.C Staff makes it so animation will me average at best. And there will be low chance for secong season.

This isn't an isekai but there is literally nothing different from an isekai.

It's just your average trashy power fantasy and the supporting characters have no Depth at all... They just exist to be wow'ed by the MC's power.

It seems like a generic power fantasy with harem and just reading the summary me cringe. I have zero expectations for this and won't be watching it.

This is "knight's & magic" but worse (comparatively), but it's alright

The former has plot and characters to make up for op mc,... This one has humor, so depending on the direction it can either go north or south cus the plot and themes are really repetitive.

Will not even try to watch it, i saw it in the upcoming anime, it's a trash isekai, yeah not a isekai by definition but it's have nothing different than a isekai like Redo, isekai in disguise.
A weak shit mc with no personnality, stupid as hell will reincarnate and got op power because lolz, a harem out of nowhere for no reason and will never face any stake, hardship, difficulty or danger.
Will be easy win blablabla self insert gary stu from the author, trash.

First and formost, it is an isekai, even if the world reminds phsyically the same, its and incredible different world from his own. Isekai is anything involving an envoriment extremely foreign to the MC, and the handling of that change as a central plot point. You wouldnt not suddenly call "planet of the apes" an isekai, just because the twist is that it was earth all along.

Besides that, that anime is pretty much the child of Kenja no mago and Missfit of demon school. Take that as you want, but thats the most accurate description i could grasp from reading the novel twice. MC goes to the future to be OP, world got weak, MC goes on a journey discovering how that world ended that way and whats going on. Crest system is creative, but not that deep. paired with that animation probably another case of "one and done" 6/10

I want Isekai recommendations. LN/WNs only, Manga adaptions of LNs always suck anyways.

Well this is kind of shitty 5/6 rated anime that you watch while eating or doing few other things. It's so predictable that you can miss a full episode, and it wouldn't matter. In music there's something we call "Easy listening", those comedy/harem-isekai are the anime equivalent.

We're still making those because nobody expects shits about it but still watch nonetheless.
