Can anyone confirm whether is this his next series or not? If not, what is it? Because there are more details on the magazine. |
| I really loved it! It was shorter than I had expected but as always Urasawa-sensei's incredible sense for characterization and development within so little pages completely blew me away. The plot was easy to follow (no unnecessary dialogue or explanations) and the lead characters were really interesting. Much more than Damiyan himself, his friend and their relationship piqued my interest! I'm also surprised by how touching this one shot was (especially the introduction of the son and mother). And I'm really happy with the ending and the message Urasawa sent with it! I'd love to see more of those characters in the future but I'd rather see a different story for his new series... (Although I'd love to see more esper-related stuff!) |
| I liked this one-shot quite a bit. I always wanted to read a series by Urasawa so this was a nice little introduction for me...although Damiya's dickhead was a little distracting lol. 6/10 |

| wowowow I hope the characters return for his full series. I actually like the bowl cut kid. Seems like he'll spawn some interesting situations for that trio. Bowl cut kid looks very much like comedian Himura Yuki. I wonder if that was intentional? Won't be surprised if they throw a reference or joke his way somewhere in the story |D |

| Didn't expect a panty shot from Urasawa. Fun one-shot, with a pretty heartwarming resolution, which is impressive considering the short length. Damiyan is a pretty memorable character, from his design, his lack of speaking, and strange supernatural powers. shirokkuma said: Bowl cut kid looks very much like comedian Himura Yuki. I wonder if that was intentional? To quote Urasawa in the author's notes in Sneeze "The character looks like Himura-san in the comedy duo Bananaman, but I think it's just a coincidence that's how his face turned out when I first dashed off a sketch of the character." |
