| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- 3 monks meeting youkai w. one of the pearls. The group are going to protect monks since they are in danger, and that includes son of monk and Sango protecting his father who is in training for 1000 days. Daughter also visiting him. Miroku seems to lose confidence when he lost that power on the hand. Sango's brother met Inuyasha's daughter for the same reason. The youkai chose Miroku, though. So that youkai is one of those who work for Kirinmaru. The power reminds Miroku the power he lost. Sister requested to undo the seal to release her youkai power from Miroku. Father and son tension eased, too. Next after new year, which means January 9, 2021. Kabuki face, and he is the reason the sisters got separated. | The 2nd-cour OP is amazing. The bonus animation after the OP is cute. I'm pleased to see how well Miroku and his son's made up turns out, 200 days left and they can be an united family again, I hope he did got the divine power he seek. Setsuna's poison body looks quite strong, I wonder what power Touwa inherited and when they gonna reveal it. |

| Well, it didn't answer any questions, although we did get Miroku again. You know, I was kinda worried that something happened to Sango's face, considering how they kinda paused before they revealed her looking at Hisui but nope nothing. Setsuna's demon transformation seems more potent than Inuyasha's was. He had to be in a life-or-death situation to undergo a transformation, while simply removing the seal was good enough to trigger Setsuna's transformation. The only reasons I can come up with for this is that Setsuna is too young and weak to be able to handle the power or Sesshoumaru is just that much more powerful than Toga was. Unlikely though. Not that Sesshoumaru wouldn't be as powerful as his dad, its just that Towa would be suffering from the same probelm. They might have inherited different abilities but unless they inherited wildly different amounts of demon energy, they should both be unable to handle Sesshoumaru's blood. Its not really that important, just something that I felt like thinking about. Anyway, with this and the past few episodes, they're really doubling down on the twins having very different abilities. The villain wasn't very interesting. He lives to fight another day but I don't think anybody would've been sad if he was a one-and-done. Next week's episode also seems to be about important plot points. I'm sure it will be very revealing and definitely not confusing or aggravating. |

Most likely dead, that Gyokuto's scene with Sango with her asking what's her message to Miroku seems weird as if it implied she had some issue with Miroku and Sango looks like she's praying in what most likely a Tamaya shrine (a small shrine in the household for the deceased) and then Hisui's scene with Sango seems there's no issue but it's all likely she's really dead, there's no reason Miroku would train like that for no reason, he had this issue when he lost his wind tunnel, everyone knows he's only human without that ability, all the more reason they probably lost a daughter against that demon |

| A case of a Four Perils demon eating monks? That's harsh. Moroha getting left behind is just a running gag at this point. She sure wants her bounty. And of course, since it's a monk episode, Miroku shows up conveniently as the Demon Slayers' Father, and it's nice to see him back, even if he's lost Wind Tunnel from the days of Inuyasha: The Final Act. A simple misinderstanding between him and Hisui, that's to be expected. But kinda glad it was resolved. Setsuna's demon transformation though, is kinda like a low-tier Inuyasha. But leaves a lot of room for doubt in future episodes of use... Still can't get over the fact that both Miroku and Sango are ageless... |

| Occam's razor...the simplest answer is that Kinu is dead, the other twin sister of Gyokuto, given all the clues in this episode. That would make the most sense, but it still leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. That's depressing. At least it was really nice finally seeing Miroku and Sango again, and that Hisui made up with his father. |

| It was great seeing Miroku and Sango this episode, but there’s still so many questions I have. I’m still lost on why no one is mentioning Kagome and Inuyasha or Rin or anything that happened in the past. It’s like this massive elephant in the room that no one’s discussing. I’m assuming the other twin is dead, which is pretty sad considering where Final Act left off at. That could explain why Miroku is off doing his training. Overall the episode was fun, some cool moments today and great to see some of Old cast. Just hope we get answers soon cause it’s killing me |

| People keep saying "good to see Miroku and Sango" when they didn't do anything of note other seem like a pathetically sad family. Like nobody asked if they know where Inuyasha and Kagome are?? |

| Finally an episode with better battle animation (more dynamic) but the plot is still weak. I wonder how they are going to fix this. |

| This episode was okay, but its still lacking that charm that would make this show more engaging. Moroha is still being as a third wheel background character as the series continues to focus Setsuna and Towa. |

| Miroku kinda looks like Inuyasha. It's good too see that Setsuna has some hidden power and not just the cyclone burst and scourge of swallows. looking forward to see what hidden power Towa inherited.  |
| Trash animation, loose plot, but Miroku and Sango is back, even for one episode. Nah Yashahime is still trash until they start bringing the OG crew back every remaining episode. |
| It was such a treat seeing one of my favorite characters Miroku. My man aged well xD One of the better episodes indeed and got me hyped for what's coming. Sango hasn't changed much but she is pretty still :3 |

| Good to see Miroku and Sango again, Sango looks beautiful as a housewife. Battle with one of four perils but they couldn't slay him and he ran away. Thou it was nice to know more about Setsuna's powers, so she inherited the poison from Sesshoumaru. |

| I actually prefer a fighter Sango than a housewife. Her children are grown up now. Surely she doesn't need to tend to them much. |

| Watched the dub. Sad to see Kirby Morrow no longer voicing Miroku. But, Ian James Corlett did do a good job softening that blow. |

| Makoto Yasumura's Miroku doesn't sound bad. I think it fits older Miroku pretty well. But I do miss the original Miroku VA Kouji Tsujitani a lot. :( Sango is still as beautiful as she was in Inuyasha. Best girls don't age! Last episode had Towa in human mode and now this episode has Setsuna in demon mode. Meh, Inuyasha's demon form was a lot cooler. Seems like there will be actual plot development in the next episode. So far I couldn't care less about the villains. |

| About time. The story is finally starting to move beyond fighting and killing a bad guy every episode. I find it quite interesting that Miroku misses his wind tunnel so much, considering it was more of a curse than a power most of the time. So Setsuna can also transform into a complete demon state like Inuyasha did. Although the conditions needed for the transformation seem to be different from that of Inuyasha's considering a seal is needed to suppress it. I'm looking forward to how Towa and Setsuna's abilities will differ from each other going forward. Also, this is the 2nd time Towa and Setsuna defeat a villain while Moroha is somewhere else and does nothing. |
