Welp, they definitely need to repair their ship.

The new town they went to seems okay but what's most interesting is about that ship building facility. I kinda like the world building content this season has been going so far. Those last few mins were pretty thrilling.

It was a nice episode till the obnoxious bad guy appeared.
Are they ever going to get rid of that guy?

Anyway Rackam's history being explained for a bit was nice.
He needed a bit more explaining.

The question now is how will they deal with the current situation.

Nice to know more about Rackam, he's not my favourite character but I think he's cool.

I am surprised to see Black Knight facing Gran when he is in the game does not appear until the arrival of Lecia and Monica.

Hmm so Golonzo island is an island renowned for its shipyards huh. Still the sum that's required for the repairs sure was hefty. For Rackam though coming back to the island where he was born must be quite the mixed feeling. On the one hand while getting to see your past friends was nice but on the other being reminded of his lonely past must be hard on him. The appearance of Noa as well as the effect that he had on the ship though was an interesting surprise. Overall an decent ep that did well in introducing some much needed backstory for Rackam as well as showing the doubts that he had hidden until now.

Nice to see some backstory about Rackam, and seems is his time for having second toughts about that journey with the group, and get some development, seems he encounter Noa once again, and seems he was the one that damaged grancypher last time!

That retar appeared again, and this time he managed to damage grancypher and capture Gran and Lyria, and also Noa, it finished intense and with a cliffhanger!

looking forward next episode!

Noa is really majestic and charming, his personality seems very sweet as well, he has become my favorite character of Granblue Fantasy, having someone like him here feels wonderful.

Same old shit. I'm just waiting for Lyria to grow out of being a plot device constantly, and grow into being an actual character.

Also, the villains in this series might as well be Team Rocket. A bunch of twirly mustache (literally in this case) Saturday morning cartoon villains that I can barely take seriously, but am expected to believe are competent and could actually win in any of these scenarios.

Lastly, I hate how inconsistent this series is, and how characters just randomly get extremely weak or strong as the plot demands. For example; Gran getting completely floored in a single move by an imperial goon (He got beat by a nobody), but can somehow hold his own (even if it was just barely) against someone like Vira in an earlier arc. Like wtf?

Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast.

Yeah. I said it.

Seems like this last arc is going to focus on Rackam and his search for a new goal now that he already fulfilled his childhood one of repairing the Grandcypher (although he now somewhat has to repair it again because of Pommern who really wants another ass whooping before this season ends).
