| As of the time writing this post i have watched it 3 times. The first time i liked it, but did not fully understood the message & subtleties. The second time i loved it, understood it way better & also cried. The third time fully understood it, and would give it an 11/10 if that were possible. The body language & sounds, & OST are the strongest points of this film. You can watch this movie as a Stand alone film, but .. i felt it better because i knew quite a bit both nozomi & Mizore from before. |

| ive yet to watch this movie but i like the visuals--mostly because i like to have the full context of what i'm watching but can't be bothered to sit through the proclaimed yuri-baiting Hibike! Euphonium. although i'm still gonna check it out someday |

But i would recommend to watch eupho before the movie, it gives you more context on the 2 main characters of the movie. |

You can't call it NTR since what you see as yuri (bait) in the anime does not have the romance element at all. |

| Absolutely agree. This movie struck something with me. I think the very nature of it's slow burn, subtle drama, and "child" problems is exactly what makes it hit so hard. Each character felt so real. And the final song, oh man, the final song. Same can be said for all of Sound Euphonium. |

| In Euphonium we have some straight couples a lot of talking about straight dating, guys,and everything else, and well that have noting to do with lesbians!! And sure the girls are behaving kind of gay but it never gets a chance to shine and are in the background!!.Only reason why its there is to lure in more viewers= Yuri Bait Liz to Aoi Tori on the other hand the lesbians are in the spotlight!! Its their show and heterosexuality is in the background, Some people on MAL seems to have low knowledge about Yuri, and think the girls need to kiss otherwise they are only friends and its not a Yuri !! And that is wrong, Yuris are often subtle and uses strong symbolism rather then kissing girls!! I love Liz to Aoi Tori its a great movie! The art is lovely and music are top notch!!! Everything works very well and i gave it 10/10 Even if my favourite ship didn't sail of in the sunset!!!  |
