| Honestly very surprised! And happy! After watching last movie thought it was KyoAni saying we're closing out this series. So hoping for another season and i assume we'll see them again at nationals. What can they do this time and where Kumiko can lead the new team?! |

I am happy but it just confirms a) the franchise has been a success as I have pointed out in the other thread and b) the production committee, especially Ishihara abosolutely loves it. I think we will have to wait until Fall 2020 at the very least with KyoAni's hands being full with VE and Free Movies as well as the already announced sequel of Maid Dragon (I am sure KyoAni will retain the title) and Nijuudenmoku. Good times are back! OT: Also looking forward to Kurosawa Tomoyo and Anzai Chika working together in the main cast of adolescence drama Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. :) |

Ready to ditch his love interest at the drop of a hat and 5. In love with his tomatoes I can definitely see it happening actually. |

So there is a high chance they will continue the romance, as they made a point of putting them together in finale, and , which does happen in the novels too, when it was, imo, quite a bit rushed. Why bother doing that unless they're going to stick to the source material and follow through. In fact there's no reason to believe they won't follow the source material. They've followed it quite accurately so far. The only noticeable thing they've changed is given more screen time to Reina instead of Shuuichi. Which is why the Kumiko, Shuuichi relationship felt a little rushed in the movie. But in the end they still followed the source material in that regard and put them together. |
