| I can definitely agree. The song is fantastic, arguably one of the best I've ever heard, but if I'm really looking at the video, it's kinda flat and boring. Especially when I compare it to other anime related music videos like Answer from 3-Gatsu no Lion, which while definitely a clip show with some original animation manages to capture the core of 3-Gatsu or Sayanara Gokko, which falls more in line with this one of not relating to the anime, but at least has really interesting visuals to go along with it. I love the song and anyone who can't help but rate it higher because of that, I can't exactly fault them, but I do think the video isn't really elevating the song in any meaningful way, more that the song carries the video. |

| The music video is mostly held up from the context of the song and how it was used in the Anime, it may have not been the biggest Anime of the season but Domestic na Kanajo had a big following even excluding the OP so yeah, this is the case of "the song is popular cause of the Anime it was used in and it sounds good like Yui tbh even if the music video does nothing to carry it or make it any better." |

The video is really elevating (along with the song) in a meaningful way! If you've ever suffered from love you will understand it! If you didn't suffer from a past love, relax, you will suffer from love one day, unfortunately this is the true, and this is what the video and the animation is talking about!
