| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Quite an emotional episode imo especially the second half. I also find this episode pretty interesting for showing Shoji's past. Tragedies happen and at this point, I don't think it's anything uncommon anymore. That embrace...even in their world with such tough lives, there are moments of joy. Felt like Masaru's encounter with Shoji is like fate that was bound to happen. |

| Cool episode! I have no idea whatsoever where this story is heading into but I’m liking this little game of puzzles so far, hopefully things don’t get too messy like last arc’s finale though. No wonder why Shoji, the Grandfather, is still alive, he’s immortal after all. Damn, what a backstory though, love prevails all obstacle I suppose. I wonder what Angelina is up to now though. Oddly enough, even Guy’s puppet is called ‘Angelina’ so I wonder if there’s a story behind that too. Lucille’s puppet, Angelina, as in the one during the fight with the Automata is another Angelina, I’m guessing she made a doll of her or something of the sort for ulterior motives such as for taking down one of the four master automata. Poor Masaru though, his Grandfather is not taking even the slightest risk here. Looking forward to seeing the next episode and seeing how this all pans out! |

| You know...for this anime to be borderline nonsensical at this point with all the rushed pacing and blatantly obvious plot holes, at least it's still entertaining. Might consider dropping the anime and reading the manga though. |

| I'm getting really tired of all of these melodramatic flashbacks. I don't feel that they are adding anything to the story. This series is turning into a disappointment for me. |

But while letting the flashbacks take centre stage, it means that the enjoyment factor drops a lot. So unless you wanna backtrack, it's gonna take a lot. Regarding this episode, I'd say it's a flashback that connects all the pieces together with Shoji the namer of Shirogane, Lucille with Angelina a.k.a Shirogane took control of Arlequin (technically the start of the 1st arc) with a tragic love story, now with their paths woven together. |

| Karakuri Circus, as the name suggests, it really shows that the circle of life is enter twined by various strings of destiny in motion and that which is controlled by a higher being as if immortal. |

| Man this show has really gone downhill. The first arc was so good and then everything after has just shat the bed. |
| I'm really intrigued by the story and how to connect all we've seen so far. The manga will offer more in that regard, so I'm definitely going to pick it up. The romance is also one of the best in battle shounen :3 |

| Really enjoyed this episode. Although I enjoy watching the crazy battles between the Midnight Circus and Shirogane I find that the character stories, like in this episode, are much more interesting. |

| To think Shirogane was just a name translation of Bai Yin Interesting to see /shoji's Past and him meeting both Yin and Angelina So technically Masaru is directly related to that badass Lucille |
