Hitomi Tsukishiro, a teenage girl born into a family of mages, has lost her sense of colors mysteriously, becoming placid and socially withdrawn. Her grandmother, Kohaku, decides to use time magic to transport Hitomi back in time to meet her 17-year-old self, in hopes to end her granddaughter's suffering. The magic brings Hitomi 60 years back to 2018, and right smack into the room of a boy, where she promptly escapes from the window. However, this is caught on tape by three members of the Photography & Arts Club at Minamigaoka High School, Hitomi's own school in the future, and subsequently uploaded on the Internet. The three students later encounter Hitomi lost in the streets and offer to help her find the magic shop in town, introducing themselves to be Asagi Kanezo, Kurumi Kawai, and Shō Yamabuki, who falsely believe that Hitomi is the boy -- Yuito Aoi's -- girlfriend after she was seen climbing out from his window. Guided to the magic shop, Hitomi finds that her grandmother had left for England to study magic, and is met with her grandmother's grandmother instead, who generously provides her lodging. Hitomi decides to show her an azurite earring Kohaku gave her back in the future to prove her relationship to their lineage, but discovers that she dropped it by accident after hiding under Aoi's bed.

This is a very accurate portrayal of depression, Lost in thought, afraid to take a step, or say soemthing out of fear that someone will push back. Really nice first episode.

nice blend of music and art towards the end, although this show is already full of good art. i really enjoyed this first episode. im worried it is going to lose the appeal along the way.

That scene with her not knowing her how to open the window at first because she was familiar to automatic devices was really well executed!

no way her granny yeeted her into the past after saying " u would miss your friends and boy friend ", its like saying u are a loner it doesnt matter!! thats... sooo mean lol
I was resisting the premise a bit but b4 i knew it the ep ended.. still cant help but feel weird
