| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Jinzaburou's courage really impresses me at how much risk he undertakes. The way he goes up against Mongol makes him almost like a daredevil. Fortunately, it looks like he gets some more backup in his strategy. A pretty thrilling episode. I guess the Mongols underestimated their enemies this time. A big mistake to pay for. RIP Abiru. |

| The mobile fort strategy sure is doing a good job of stalling the enemies advance. Too bad about Yajirou though. He finally found the courage that he was lacking only to fall here. Teruhi sure has it rough losing three members of her family in succession. Onitakemaru sure has some crazy strength. It was funny seeing the Kuchii's tactic of having the two forces meet and delay each other actually work. The ending though was pretty interesting. An thrilling episode that shows that one should never underestimate the samurai. |

| Rip Yajirou, that was pretty brutal. One thing I have to complain about is the rather cheap production, the scenes just feel less impressive due to that. Also, the scene where Jinzaburou was handing over the head looked awkward too. Aside from these minor issues I'm still fond of the story. |

| Wait is this mountain army full of Youkai??? I don't mind a bit of fantastic for this anime,but i just hope it keep this down to earth realistic style for the most part. |

| Yajirou had to die just when he was becoming a bit likeable, didn't he? I guess it was pretty terrifying to die without being able to phantom what this conflict is going to amount to in the end, but he was able to find solace in the words of Jinzaburou, so I guess he went as in peace as possible. Also poor Teruhi, it's the third head she holds, and to add a bit to the trauma, this one was still warm. I wasn't expecting him to die, at least not so soon, but well. I also lost the count of how many days went by, I wonder if that handsome monk is almost there with his reinforcements, and what the emperor wants with Jinzaburou. On a side note that enemy general was a joke, at first he said that the lives of his troops were more important than money, then he put them to fight against allies for some loot he didn't even know the value of. |

| This Angolmoist (that was intentional) show is cool if not for the paper filter visuals. oh man! another general has fallen! oh gosh! Teruhi-hime is really thirsty for our MC! she almost kissed him twice! but this 2nd attempt failed! OP & ED is both good! 5/5. |

| Great episode, i knew that Teruhi kissed him back then and now she tried to do it again hahah But this time she failed so there probably will be another attempts xD She is very cute tho. If it wasn't for Jinzaburou, they would be all dead. This anime is actually really good, but as i see it didn't get much attention. The Mongolians actually fought for those treasures xD Jinza was right, and i thought that big guy betrayed them but he did a good job. |

| ...and Abiru-dono died the episode after the death flag was set. Honestly, I was expecting this but I didn't expect him to die by a cannon shot. That should have been awful to experience. R.I.P. As always, Kuchii-dono's plan went better than expected due to Onitakemaru's help. The confusion and conflict surely gave them some precious time to escape and regroup. |
