| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, that escalated fast. Storytelling wise, it still has that tragic feel. But in the present timeline, it feels like certain characters are hoping to make the best of their situation. Kinda curious about the technology in this show though. The weapons honestly looks simple but some are very effective. Also, I noticed a new key visual being updated recently so business should pick up more for this second half/cour. |

| Utsutsu's dad took her training way too serious...so much that he decided to kill himself to cause her a trauma. |

| Utsutsu's dad taking tough love to the next level. Burning yourself to death and gaslighting your daughter into believing it's her fault is some extreme stuff. That said, looks like his bet paid off, so there you go. Overpowered time magician is back in action now. Don't see him going down any time soon. |
