| Re-watching: I like how this 'internal' psychological episode seems to relate to something going on externally. In this case it seems more substantial and purposeful than just 'here is his subconscious.' The cafe scene was very artistic. I didn't want to bring up NGE, but this is more anti-Eva than anything. |

| The transition from EP10 to this was really confusing.. I had to go back and re-watch the previous episode and the intro to this, but no, the sudden toss into the battle still made no sense. I did dig what was done with the inner world in this episode, especially with the television program part, but yeah, this was just the Leliel fight from Evangelion EP 16 all over again. They even had the audacity to replicate the 'dim empty carriage' angles from Eva, but this time with an empty bus instead lol |
| The pace and dynamics of this series are all over the place, it feels almost like no one involved in this project actually knows how to link a few episodes/arc together. Everything is mishmashed to the viewer with no sense of artistic direction/will. The not so great writing doesn't help obviously. Aside from that there a lot of unneeded cheesy romance plot and, above all, ripped things from Eva. In just 11 episodes the similiarities are way too many. That said this one was probably the best episode thus far, pondering if I should drop it or not. Does it get better towards the end? |
| Amazing episode! I do agree that the sudden mid battle at the beginning was confusing at first. I thought I skipped an Episode or so. I kinda knew that he was getting mind fucked by that "Angel" due to the fact that it keeps appearing briefly in ever scene. The flashbacks really REALLY reminded me of Evangelion Flashbacks. Back when Shinji couldn't pilot EVA-01 anymore and just shut himself up, then started having visions. I also love how intimate this scene was. With Hiroko and Haruka. Would not be surprised in the real world. Hiroko actually likes Ayato even more than Mamoru.  That scene with Haruka though O__O Is like the same dream with Shinji and Rei/Asuka/Misato :X So Ayato may have been an experiment as an Instrument for Rahxephon? His mother may have not be her biological one afterall.  Also I literally lol'd when Mishima started to pull that long big log/thing out of Ayato out of nowhere. I thought she choked him at first, but was getting something in his mouth. I'm like, WTF XD Quon going crazy as well. I guess she really is connected to Ollin (Ayato)     |

| Transition from last ep to this was like jumping onto a freeway. Suddenly thrust into a situation and already our MC is losing and gets engulfed. We then proceed to see him wandering around and wishing for reality over a dream. |
