| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah the show focuses more on school life again. I almost forgot that Sakamichi was the main protagonist The episode was okay, not as intense as some of the previous ones but still had the Yowamushi feel. Imaizumi's character chemistry with Sakamachi is also noticable. Speaking of which, Sakamichi is quite an an encouraging person for the guys at Interhigh. |

| Great episode as always. Looks like our boys have finally moved up the year. Onoda freaking out in class and Naruko's new hairstyle were funny. xD We got some of the old flashbacks and it was nice to here a slower version of the 'Sakamichi' OST, I love that tune. Onoda getting all worked up before the first year race was funny as well but I loved it when he wished all the first years to do their best. :) We've got some promising first years in this race, Sugimoto's brother, Kaburagi and Danchiku in particular. I'm also glad to see that Sugimoto has finally taken his "Experienced Rider" thing really seriously. I still don't think he'll have a shot at winning though. Them post credit scenes. :3 |

| Onoda-senpai had me busting out laughing, pure gold. Glad to see Sugimoto get some development, though I have a feeling he still won't get it. I'm glad I didn't bite and pick up the manga, the race for the sixth man is going to fun to follow. Why the hell would Teshima agree to that deal though, when it would mean either him or Aoyagi would have to step down from the inter high team? |

| Onoda trying to be a good senpai to the first years but instead his actions made him look like a meanie LOL( reminds me of Arakita for some reason LOL). Still I'm glad he was able to show his kindness by wishing all the first year racers good luck :D I'm also glad that Sugimoto is stepping up his game! I wish him luck on the race, but I have a feeling that those two first years that went ahead of him at the end of the ep have a better chance of winning. Also, OMG Onoda, Naruko, and Imaizumi are official senpais! X3 |
| Aaww, second year Onoda. Ride a slope using mommy bike like last year. But this time he got his name banner the moment he reach the school. Which suddenly makes him nervous. XD |

| Usually in anime, it's so hard to find students to recruit into the school club in focus. This is not the case here. So many applicants. Only 2 or 3 look like they will be major characters in the long run though. |

| Onoda, Imaizumi & Naruko are now all 2nd-years! LOL Onoda failed to act as a senior! So many new 1st years, especially the two new ones which is: Kaburagi & Danchiku it's gonna be hard for Sugimoto to win the 6th placer for interhigh! 5/5. |

| Finally i I have been able to watch the soul of this anime, and this episode return the intense and the atmosphere of this greats episodes!!!!! For me, the firsts eights was boring episodes!!! Onoda give afraid!!! And it´s not a joke, or yes? xSDS |

| Sugimoto is as determined as ever. training really much.He really wants it.And Imaizumi helped him out, Imaizumi is a real bro. Besides Sugimoto cant lose to his brrother that's why he is so determined. I really loved how first years saw Onoda and thought of him to be a first year and then proceeded to tell him about superstar Onoda that made my day. Even called him Onoda-senpai and the other guy noticed that he rode on that really hard slope on a Mommy bike Glad Naruko is not that affected and that new hair style o_O Love Imaizumi and Naruko's interactions as always. "We're not CLOSE" Come on just admit it already :D Aoyagi Teshima gloves part was awesome. Shows how determined they are not to let everyone down and realize their dream. New guy is really confident i dont really like him tbh. Did anyone notice that in the list of Inter high participants Onoda is first, Imaizumi is second. I think it says about their power levels. An its pretty correct. So whoever joins last will be the weakest? And my favorite scene was when Naruko told Onoda that to repay your senpais the only thing you can do is pass this kindness to your kouhais. And then Onoda tried to act as a kind senpai only to make his kouhais be scared of him. [b] "You d-dust" :D And the best part when Onoda proceeded to wish all of them luck by shaking their hands was just pure awesomeness make him be so much more likable than he already was. And of course the start race was great. And all first years hold Onoda in really high regards huh. He is a living legend, not only did he win the climb in a first year race but he also won Inter high as a first year which is insane and everyone is such a big fanboys of his that they are afraid to even approach him because of how awesome he is. That's so coool. Jesus i love this anime so much actually. |
| Awesome! Nice to see Sugimoto step up to the plate, especially with pressure coming from his younger brother who definitely has a part to play for Sohoku. |

| Yeeees! I've been waiting so long to finally see Sugimoto get serious. Going from comic relief to a strong regular would be such a leap, though it looks like a real uphill struggle. Gotta love Onoda too. As awkward as he is, no one conveys the joy of cycling better than he does. |
