| First time I see Holy up Chacha in a struggle. |
| This was definitely an interesting episode. Not only did we see more Magical Princess action, but they finally found the Phoenix. |

| Wow that was certainly one of the more dense episodes so far. I don't know why but I sorta guessed Piisuke was going to end up being the Phoenix Sword. I like the design of that sword quite abit and it's nice to know we will have an alternative at last to the Beauty Serene Arrow - Magical Shoot sequence, which is nice. Other major thing to note is Shiine and his new role of changing into things. Like we know he can turn into a mouse but I can't recall him changing into too many other things across the 29 eps prior to this one (though I feel like I might be blanking on that). Yet in this we get two different birds, a pair of scissors and a trampoline. I'm guessing this is going to be a running theme in the show from now on for Shiine which is a nice addition because other than being the brains and least gullible (though still very gullible) of the three his role has mostly been second fiddle to Riiya. Also ChaCha was adorable in that bird costume haha, as was pre Phoenix Piisuke. Finally the animation for Gandar as he flew down to make those holes had me in giggles for some reason. Like he was body slamming the ground, it just looked really funny. |
