| The Kazuma Lalatina interaction in her room was gold. but I think Darkness really did cross the line this time. Kazuma has all of the right to get mad and abandon Darkness at this point tbh. She left everyone without saying anything properly and continue to keep her comrades out of the loop. It's just like saying that you don't trust your comrades enough to share hardships. Good thing that there are Kazuma's party mates (aka Megumin at this moment because Aqua is useless as usual when it comes to serious things) to push his back and restore motivation to rescue the noble in distress. |

| I agree that Darkness has became a bit annoying. She even resisted to be rescued up to the bitter end. What a hard headed crusader! It's a bit funny because this was supposed to be her volume but she ended up annoying me. Megumin really scored tons of points on my best girl leaderboards with this chapter. She did all her best to persuade Kazuma, in more funnier ways than one, and even added those "confession" like tidbits just to convince him. She even "made up" with Yunyun for the grand finale. And yes, she stole the spotlight and was so cool. This even felt like a Megumin chapter. Damn it. This isn't even her arc and she did so much. This hyped me up even more for the next Megumin arc, hopefully volume 9. Aqua scored tons of points too. That wedding bows modification really cracked me up lol. The last scene is the best. Makes me remember that dullahan curse scene. Yunyun needs more love. I hope she gets her own arc somewhere down the road. |

| Intermission + Epilogue is up! Arguably the best volume of this series so far for me. The author actually used the well developed characters to make a very interesting story that leaves you at the edge of your seat. The beginning is a bit slow and a bit boriing but it picks up in the middle of it. I especially liked Vanir and Megumin this volume and how they do their stuff. I've talked about Megumin before and Vanir is just plainly awesome. Kazuma got help from Vanir just because he gets something much much better. 2 Billion is a small price to pay for Kazuma's rights plus the negative emotions he ate from both Alderp and Aqua(lol). He even trolled Alderp in the end. That part is so much lol. Poor Alderp. Kidding, he deserves it. Also, I guess Darkness being a bit irritating this volume is because of the hypnosis stuff going on. She can't help it if she's under some trance-like spell. I guess that's why she's resisting so much on being saved. And lastly, Chris got busted. Finally. Next volume! Eris cult vs Axis cult! |

| Nice end to the volume, darkness was a bit annoying throughout imo but was still a good volume. Can't wait for Vol.8 and more Eris! Also Iris needs more screentime. |

| What a volume, lol. Eris being Chris was a bit surprising, though I was sorta expecting it once she gave all those clues, but it's nice to know she will probably be around for quite some time. The wedding and the events taking place were just amazing, gotta give it to Kazuma and Co tho...simply hilarious how they created so much chaos and Yunyan even joined in the fun! Also seems like the potential Darkness ship just started here! #DarknessBestGirl after this volume. Good to see the scumbag landlord also got what he deserved, but I wonder whether Vanir got any ulterior motives...next up, Axis cult vs Eris cult, that ought to be hilarious xD |

| Chris being Eris had already become fairly obvious from the last volume and this one made it even clearer but it was still good to have confirmation. Fuck Alderp! That wedding crash was awesome. Classic Aqua just casually healing Darkness's father was funny. Love how they both got embarrassed. Seems the apple didn't fall as far from the tree as I thought. |

| Screw Alderp, never liked him since he was first introduced, but LOVED the punishment he got. Can't believe he also sent Iris the body switch necklace Nice also to get confirmation that Eris = Chris since it was heavily hinted last vol, turns out Eris does pad her chest eh |
