Yeah, I might go for a golden or a lab or something instead. The problem with GSDs is that they need a lot of outdoor activity and space, which apartment life isn't conducive to. I like GSDs a lot though :^(

Might check out Hinamatsuri at some point, I've read some of the manga. Definitely looking forward to more MHA. I did just finish the arc where they first run into Stain and I gotta say...not a fan (of Stain, that is). MHA seems to do better in controlled settings like the tournament arc, and has kinda struggled with some of its more complex thematic material, but I'll reserve judgment since the story is ramping up now.

I'm doing okay, looking for new jobs atm. My current company has been pissing me off with their poor project management lately. I'm going on vacation next week to New York, which I'm looking forward to. I'm thinking of getting a pupper too (probably a GSD), but I'll have to find a pet-friendly apartment first. Otherwise, life is pretty mundane.

I stopped watching anime for about a year (aside from a couple shows), but started watching again recently. Anime's always been an on-off thing for me, lol. Right now I'm trying to work through all the anime on my PTW I planned on watching at some point but never got around to. Seasonals are still mostly shit though :^( I like MHA, wasn't really expecting a lot out of it but it's a solid battle shounen series. I don't have any huge issues with it, just smaller stuff like pacing and some characters being given not enough focus, etc. Overall it's good though and I like the balance between Bakugo's sheer ambition, Todoroki's struggle against fate/his predetermined life path, and Deku's struggle for validation/acceptance.

I already got a laptop in mind, as my brother got a new one as well, a Lenovo, and looking it over and the price, I'm going to go for the same brand. But mainly because it still comes with a CD-ROM port, and I hate that thanks to them getting """slimmer""" you need to have an extension for one if you still want to play CDs and stuff on your laptop. Now I still gotta look around to see what art program I'll want on it that's not Adobe--I already saved like a Sony Vegas video editing program that was on sale someplace for free, so I (should) can put it on the laptop to guarantee I'll still get to do video editing.

That's interesting. So what're you going to school for?

I'd be on Discord more, but my laptop's become old and crummy and can't update any longer. Like it'd be much easier for me to remember to get on Discord if I had a desktop version like with Skype (which is actually the reason why I stopped using Skype because my laptop's too old to support the desktop version, and it locked me out lol). I should be able to get myself a new laptop later this year, though, so soon I'll be able to shitpost in Weebies more again. :D

Cutting your hair's good, but unemployment's not. Yikes, sorry that you lost your job, man. I know you mentioned it was rather unsafe at times, and it sounded really difficult, but it was at least work. Unless you quit to focus on school, based on you mentioning studying. But it sounds like it's been an interesting past year for you.
