Noragami: Stray God
| I seriously don't know why do some people, me included, like Nora. There's something unique about her that makes me care about her. Anyone got any ideas how to explain it? |

| she had that edge of not being fazed easily so she appeared almost infallible in s1 and in aragoto you can see that part of her get deconstructed. i noticed that i started liking her in aragoto because they were delving deeper into her character like i said before. also her weapon form is so cool |

She loves Yato but (theory) couldn't follow him when he left as she's bound to too many Gods and maybe even this Father guy. So she tried to bring him back. Dont think she's going to be very sweet in the next season because she's no longer bound to Yato. |

I personally think she's got potential to be good. The greatest obstacle is obviously her attachment to Father, but I think she would prefer being treated as a person more than as a tool. |

| Nora is fantastic. But I can't really put my finger on why. Is it her design? Her otherworldly nature? Her relationship with Yato? All I know is I find her quite compelling. Of course I do like her controlling and manipulative nature, and I find her relationship with Yato fascinating. In all honesty, its probably a combination of all of the above. |

| As a manga reader, I don't think it's possible to judge Nora until you see her past with Yato. Someone mentioned that their relationship is barely explored. They teased it with Aragoto, but it's not resolved. In the manga, it's explained about 4-5 chapters after Aragoto ends, so you won't see that until the third season (if they release it). The thing with this series is that you have to wait quite a bit to find out about people's backstories and their reasons for acting the way they do. So far, the only backstory we've had was Bishamon/Kazuma's, and we still had to wait until the second season to see it. If you think about it, the anime hasn't really explained many more backstories. Season 3 will show the pasts of a few characters, but there are still many things unexplained in the manga. That doesn't mean it's "left unexplained", it's just a slower bulid up. One of the first things Yato says is "don't just a person by how they look" and, in a sense, that's how the story works: you see a person acting a certain way, you hate them or think they're being irrational, and then they show your their past. Eg: many people hated Bishamon and Yukine (Yukine's past has still not been showed, but it also explains his behaviour). I believe it'll be a similar case with Nora. Also, I'm still not sure what the question means: do we like Nora in the sense that we believe that there's a reason for her actions, that she's also controlled by Father and mistreated by Yato? Or do we like her in the sense that she's a good, interesting character? |

| I fail to see how she's an interesting character. I praise Noragami for having decent-amazing characters but Nora doesn't fit the bill. She reminds me of Lumina from Final Fantasy Lightning Returns.. The mysterious mischievous trope. Except in both situations it's not compelling nor interesting.. She herself is not interesting nor compelling but the people she 'used'. Rabo and Bishie's purifier. Even if you call them pawns to her they were more compelling in driving the story She's not a bad character but just.. Okay I guess. The more she appears the more annoying she becomes |

| The thing is that Nora tried to own Yato for herself, that in the place of Yato that wasn´t good because he would be forgotten, but in the way that she does the things she does is where she demostrates the cold and maipulative psyche of a villain, so I would think that I liked her as a villain, as an emphatetic or charismatic character absolutely NO |
