| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lmao, Eijun's brief rage is hilarious. Pretty loud arena this episode with a lot of tense. Some decent builds but I think the pitching were the more intense parts, especially that last one this episode with the dramatic pitch. But like almost always, Diamond no Cliffhanger strikes again ;_; |

| I let out a "What the fu..." at the end. A slightly different cliffhanger would have been nice, such as ending a split second later where we can hear the contact. Furuya's stubbornness getting in the way :/ This series would be a great one to marathon, as cliffhangers won't matter as much. Nevertheless a great first inning! |

| F***n Cliffhanger!!! JUST WHY!!! D: It was awesome seeing Miyuki totally serious like that. Furuya got REKT lol :P I'm just loving Ume way too much ^^; Can't wait til he faces off against Eijun!! I'm glad Furuya didn't break down at least though. That's getting repetitive. |

Power curveballs are faster and have a sharper drop on the pitch as it crosses the plate. |

| Daamn Miyuki's intensity when he was very disappointed with Furuya. Usually Miyuki is rather supportive, everyone was incredibly surprised. I think Zono can see how Miyuki's harsh ways can work out too. At least it works well with Furuya, who finally got his head in the game. It doesn't matter if it's Furuya's signature to start out slow, he gave up a home run with three runners in the first inning. | Lots of tension in the Seido camp, but that was to be expected. Hope Miyuki pulls off a good hit, but I have a feeling it's not gonna be that simple. ...and lol, poor Kawakami has ace dreams too ^_^ |

| Damn, Furuya had a pretty bad start and Miyuki had to talk sense to him. At least that got him back on track. That cliffhanger is so painful though. Miyuki changed his footing as soon as he realised Umemiya was pitching his power curveball. Please hit it, Miyuki! |

| A good episode. Furuya sucking in the beginning as always. Damn that cliffhanger at the end. From what it looks like, Miyuki will of course hit the ball. Now let's see if it'll go for a homer or no. |

| I got annoyed at Furuya, so I was happy that Miyuki scolded him so hard. But that cliffhanger. Seriously? Ugh. Sawamura is as noisy as ever haha. |

Miyuki putting him in his place like a real captain, Zono needs to stfu and follow suit. looking forward to the next episode, hoping we get the Furuya we saw in the first half against Teito or it's going to be an early day for him. |
