| Damn that was really cool. I love the classic, retro feel to the series -- artwork, plot development, even the soundtrack. Maybe I'm just a sucker for shounen, but this was an excellent introduction to the series. |

| Ushio to Tora is starting off amazingly! Of course the old school feels is a bonus, but more importantly, I like how the characters, especially the main character, feel rather alive, than just being a character. imo that's what modern anime fail to accomplish most of the time Props to Mappa for not "modernizing" the artstyle like what Madhouse did with Parasyte. Can't wait to see how Ushio will tame Tora. XD |
