| The show added the addition math to the synchro summons. This actually kinda helps since we can both see and hear the numbers now. The animation was really exceptional this episode. Sherry, Yusei, and Aki looked really well animated, and there were some lip details added to all of them in the close-ups. Really nice insert song at the end as well. Not sure about DM, but pretty sure GX didn't have any. Yliaster's behind the scenes again. I'm really liking all the set up for the Grand Prix, but it's not happening for another year right? Are they going to do another mini time skip? I'm really liking Sherry's character. Aki's finally going to learn how to do riding duels. My theory is that Jack, Crow, and Yusei will be on a team, and maybe Aki will join Sherry's since they all kind of share a goal, but that's just a guess. More Yusei x Aki? Yes please. |

| Sherry's backstory is essentially the same as Batman's, she even has a butler. The fact that the duel was interrupted was disappointing since I thought Yusei winning would've been fine considering how he never gets a rematch with Sherry in the future. I was half expecting Mikage and Ushio to show up to arrest those guys who kidnapped Yusei. |
| I'm fascinated at how Sherry, who fled her home and traveled the world since she was a child, still managed to retain that questionable French accent. It's not outside the realm of possibility, but I'd figure she'd pick up a number of other accents along the way. |
| Well, unfortunately we didn't get a conclusion to their duel, go figure one of the better duels doesn't get a proper conclusion. But, I guess it's just building the tension for the upcoming tournament. If nothing else, I can definitely get behind SherryxAkiza. |

| Don't get why Aki was completely clueless to Yusei's plannned strategies aas if she was a standard spectator. She was sat right behind him with a clear view of his hand. Guess this experiennce is goinng to turn Aki into a Turbo Junkie :P Look out Jack and Crow, you've got some competition on team placement. I doubt Yusei would join Sherry, and Aki doesn't really have a reason either. Best guess would she participates as a backup rider if the WRGP has a system like that for teams. A main question now is if Sherry was determined to get Yusei, who is the other member (butler maybe), and does she have a backup for the eventual case of Yusei turning her down? |
