Great episode, I especially like the piece of music that played towards the end as Godai was in the waiting room. I thought it was admirable how he helped the woman instead of going to the interview, though I guess he didn't have much choice in the matter, anyway.

I really loved this part of the story. It pushed out that good nature of Godai that everyone loves.

Oh Yagami, why do you always have the perfect thing for every occasion?

I thought that somehow the hospital people could take him to his interview afterwards and do the explaining for him as to why he was so late... but ah, I guess that's too unrealistic for Maison Ikkoku. :P Oh well - it looks like Godai's skipping the interview was for the better anyway!

Indeed he was much better off skipping the interview today. I'm sure once he explains the situation to Ibuki, that should help in some form, he does after all have an entirely legitimate excuse. When I saw the title I was thinking "wtf??" xD I wasn't expecting that twist. It was very admirable of Godai to stay with that woman through till the end. I think it'll work out favorably from this incident.
I must say, I find myself liking Yagami more and more with each episode, I admire her spirit, she is full of vigor and is not afraid to follow her heart. She would make for a excellent match with Godai if Kyoko wasn't his dedicated love interest. Certainly far better that Kozue, it's as if Kozue has faded out and no longer holds any significance to the series.

Too bad there will never be a scene of Kyoko's and Godai's baby.

Anyways, good episode.

I find it funny that the paramedics just assume Godai's the father XD
Looks like the charm actually worked...in avoiding Mr.Yagami's wrath to celebrate the birth of life :)

I like how nobody give a fuck about pregnant woman, but Godai does. :D

I haven't watched this show in 2 years. Godai is very mature now.

Godai disappoints more and more. He just needs to finish his sentences and be blunt once in a while. "I'm not the husband. She's not my wife. I'm a stranger." How hard is that? At least leave once they got to the hospital. No need to sit around the entire day missing his interview. It's like he wanted to fail. Loser mindset.

Oh well, he wouldn't have got along well in that company anyway. Anyone that works there will have to be alert, quick thinking and competitive. If he somehow got in his colleagues and seniors would chew him alive until he retired. He'd be forced to go drinking every night until the last train and probably bullied into doing everyone else's work because he's a pushover. He'd never see Kyoko again until retirement. So in that way it works out for him.
