Ah the mind of a culprit...

Somehow though, there's also an atmosphere of innocence this episode with the dolls. Good episode. I like how smooth the momentum was flowing. Love can motivate people quite a bit...

I'm very very disappoint that the last case is not the rose manor case but it is the game mansion instead(but I can tell that from the opening from the start) Damn I want that case to be animated so bad...It is the best of Kindaichi since decade ago

Nice ending to the case. Didn't expect Busujima to be the killer, but he had his reasons.

Poor Togami.. That message at the end was feels-inducing.. T_T

Probably the best episode so far, so many feels in this episode! If there were ever victims who deserved death it's those two.

Poor Busujima might have been prepared to take his life due to grief, it was probably on his mind when he decided to try that risky hanging trick.

The last scene with Kenmochi going to investigate another case was epic. Next episode looks like Saw, I'm excited to see it.

Bit disappoint they tune down the violence in Marina's flashback. in manga they show Marina being tortured and dead scene. but anyway I like this case so never mind.

I can't believe you have totally exact same opinion as mine.

Rosenkreuz mansion by far is a best case since 21st century and since Russian dolls case. I want to see it animated so badly. I goosebumps and tear drop for its awesomeness after I finish reading. this case restore my faith to Kindaichi series and made me believe Kindaichi will as good as its prime again.

But atleast it's get a live-action adaption next week. though it has low possibility for as good as original or even anime version(if it's exist)

Definitely the best case so far. Knew it had to be Busujima, but didn't expect his relationship with Marina and the involvement of the puppeteer. Though I can't imagine that the PD didn't inspect vital evidence with more scrutiny before handing it to the deceased's family.

Tch, they should've made Busujima a culprit.

I think it was the best case of this season... It's sad that there is only a few episodes left... I hope the anime will continue someday in the future.

I didn't like the doll scene, it makes Busujima and the police look like idiots. I also don't understand the end of the episode, what was that? A beginning of the next case?

The case was actually solvable in the very first episode which made it EXTREMELY lackluster now after this episode, but in my opinion Takato being the one behind the case actually redeems this conclusion in my eyes. I wanted it to be Aoi but this came as a surprise (However I don't see any foreshadowing of Takato being part of it in the episodes, but for someone to come up with a plan like this, and STILL manage to slip-up something as big as knowing both of them are dead back then, makes that particular character be known as the Fail, so I would have probably guessed that someone was making the plans up for him also).

Honestly not a big fan of Busujima being the only one behind this case, nor the explanation of anything pretty much. They could have explained the fire-explosion situation alot better here, too.
The flashback was quite touchy and I really like the way how it had some relation to Kenmochis past ofcourse.

It's my favourite case definitely of this season, just sad to see the explanation be so simple. After I re-watched the 1st episode earlier this week and went through it completely, I immediately thought about how things really did go down here. After rewatching the 2nd and 3rd episode, those gave nice possibilities of them adding an accomplice (or even the real culprit) into the mix, but that never happened.
Then again, I'm glad they didn't try to pull any nonsense with the Lawyer and the documents giving out some random hint as if everyone else in the past case hadn't read the documents.

Hopefully they can end this season well. Next case is probably the last. Looks like SAW. I guess it's probably going to be like the manga "Doubt" (which makes for a pretty good horror series, I couldn't care less myself though) or the other one I forgot already about.

Ahhhh! This show has so much potential but they're making it so episodic and disconnected like Conan. The idea of that guy (the one who made Busujima into an Executioner; I forgot his name) recurring in the storyline makes it more interesting but I feel as if this anime doesn't make full use of this subplot. Something like Psycho Pass does it well, like incorporating the villain to every case and actually making him fearsome.

Sorry for ranting ^^;

@k11chi: Exactly my thoughts.

There is something bothering me throughout this entire case. It might be that this case trying to depict the real case that happened in japan around the late 80's. It seems that Amagi Seimaru got his limitation in writing mystery and deduction stories. Everything now seems to be happening in stranded and uninhibited closed space places...

What a sad life Busujima are having
3 years in prison for something he didn't do
His father that he meant to help.. left him alone after Tamaki's father stop the business
Lost his crush to horrible thing
Feel betrayed, took Puppeteer's trap
Get into the prison once again

Now I feel bad for him, he didn't deserve that.. He just want a normal life :(
But because of a certain 2 person.. he can't

Honestly don't know how to feel about this, then again kindaichi has always had this rather convoluted premise for these perpetrators. Good on busujima though but one thing that I don't get is how Kenmochi was still involved despite the puppeteer telling busujima it didn't reach the police. It's a good thing the pieces of shits died though, they should have suffered more

Takato was behind this one too. I think in the previous episode, Kindaichi said something along the likes of another person to be involved in this. Pretty tragic case, those 2 were extremely pathetic.
