| Aoi looked pretty bad descending down that mountain. I wonder what would happen if they actually encountered a bear that would be pretty interesting to see. Everyone was excited to visit the hot springs after a tiring day of mountain climbing. Seeing them climb mountains really makes me want to try it. |

| Aoi's embarrassment in the hot spring was funny. Wonder if she will have less trouble entering one the next time. Going down was easier then going up from the looks of it tho the girls did have pain in their knees on the way back. Guess learning is also part or mountaineering. |

| I love how the Yama no Susume girls are so relatable, as they figure out mountains. Aoi and Kokona had a lot to learn in this episode. Slopes can wear you out ridiculously, even when you don't cover much mileage, as I've learned lately—I'm used to biking and backpacking on the pretty flat terrain of most of the Midwest. And of course, like any good slice of life anime, they had to include a hot springs scene…but at least Aoi was super embarrassed. Aversa said: Aoi's embarrassment in the hot spring was funny. Wonder if she will have less trouble entering one the next time. Yeah, I can see another hot springs scene coming…they already used up their one excuse for swimsuits. Funny how they got so excited by the hot springs that they missed the goat-antelope—but at least it wasn't a bear. Japanese black bears are pretty aggressive, especially considering how small they are, so I'm kinda with Kokona but kinda not. Oh, and one more thing: I think the OP art is amazing now, I don't think I'll skip it much. The ED made me think of Strike Witches this time… |

| So they finish their hike and enjoy the hot springs. LOL at Aoi, taking a fast bath first because Hinata told her to do that before entering the Hot Springs. xD Wonder what their next adventure will be. |

| Aoi is hooked. So they did go back down the same way as they came up? Sitting on a bench isn't actually a very good idea. Rest against something with your back while standing up. The harder a route, the more the descent is harder than the ascent. Except for paved roads. Which you generally don't think about when going up, but can be a real pain when going back down, especially if your with other people for some reason. Hotsprings waiting at the bottom of a mountain is something I've never had... Obviously. Sometimes I wish I could. Other times I'd just be wanting to get back, while other people I was with wanted to have a bathe. |

| I don't like washing with other people as well, lol.. Well, maybe now I wouldn't care that much, and could do that, if situation would ask.. But also I'd rather not, really.. But I don't like washing up in general, really.. Well, it seems this trip was much more difficult for Aoi than other girls.. But everyone looks happy in the end, or something like that.. I think this thing is a bit what bothers me a tiny bit.. Everyone just tries to stay positive in the end.. I mean, Kaede said that if she'll be with sad or grumpy face, she'll affect others.. But also whole group being genki like that.. I don't know about that, really.. At least not after such climbing.. But who knows.. Maybe it's their thing, after all.. Like indeed they like those views a lot and stuff, and sense of accomplishment, and many things they encounter and see on the path.. So it's like bothering me only a tiny bit.. Still I don't share their all interests, so can't relate to some of their happiness.. In the end, it's whatever, I guess.. I'll see more, maybe it won't be really an issue them trying to be happy so much.. Like we have Aoi, whose suffering reactions we actually see.. ;D So we already have this.. ;P |

| After praising Kaede for her advises in the previous episode, I was a bit shocked about her advice 😋. My father taught me a different trick: to descend on the side. It still works just fine, even for the bumpiest descents. I laughed heartily. |
