| Jeez lots of hate for this one... I rather liked it, Motoko smiling and having a boyfriend was new, but of course he ended up being the bad guy. I've accepted that this is just another elseworld of GITS, it won't be the original movie or SAC. THat said I thought this was the best of the Arise movies so far. |

| I really liked it too, don't understand all the complaints. Thought it was nice to look at, good story, fleshed out the characters and still felt like GITS without being a retread. |
| Lots of bitching from people I see but I enjoyed it. Different from SAG certainly and not just in the animation style but for contained stories these films are doing well to keep me engrossed. |

| Better than the previous one, I really appreciated the mixture of philosophy, idealism, reality and political intrigues. It also has the ability to integrate in the discourse an interaction with the backdrops. However, it is the idea that the best OST is made by Origa and Steve Conte, I close one eye on this soundtrack. Positive that does not go down in good cheers not even this time, thanks to the good doses of dismembered bodies and sacrifices useful to the cause. Graphic quality is not worthy of a similar product, just like the animations. 9/10 |

| Utterly painful to watch, mainly because GitS does not do romance well at all, especially with this stock bishojo dude being one of the involved parties. Even the plot and antagonists this time around were boring and one-dimensional. No doubt terrorists plots involving dams and water supplier companies could be interesting, but that narrative was rushed through because this movie decided allocating most of its length to sappy clichéd flirting scenes was more important. |
