| You'd think that if your entire combat style depended on a certain shape, you would keep stuff that has that shape near you at all times. But I guess not. (The belt buckle wasn't in the shape of the golden rectangle after all?) Also, snowflakes are apparently rectangles. Who knew? :D |
| Nice backstory we got there, but did Gyro just forget about his belt or what? Or is it reliable only when you can see it? Back at the river Gyro used the belt only after taking it off. Did Johnny forget that he could shoot the nails from his feet too? Oh... he couldn't adjust them after all, because they don't move. Kinda makes sense, how're you gonna aim with these when they can't move. |

| This fight was marvelous and had a great finale (Gyro's resolution to spare Wekapipo's life). Good to know that Wekapipo's sister is alive. It looks like Gyro did not screw up the operation completely. She lost her sight, but ironically because of that she was able to stay alive. @St0rmblade, hehe I thought the same thing. Gyro could've used the moment of still being able to have control over their left side of the world (and their bodies) and make an use of his dammit belt as he did not that long ago, lol. But oh well, small errors like that make this story even more fascinating to read, heh. Like snowflakes. Who would have thought that you can form a rectangle out of a snowflake? :P |

Who knew? :D I think the idea is that they have to find natural examples of the golden rectangle, like the "original source." Gyro's belt buckle is modeled after the golden rectangle, yes, but it just follows the measurements of the golden rectangles found in nature. That's why they were so focused on finding natural examples, like in leaves and butterflies. And yup! The golden ratio can be seen in snowflakes irl. It's cool! |

| Well, I'll be! Everyone, save for Magenta, had a happy ending after all. It's great that they found an unlikely ally in Wekapipo since he's able to get close to Lucy without raising too much suspicion. |
