| oh like who? I thought the boss of the Lightning Gang looked a lot like the "hero"* of Shoujouji no Tanuki-bayashi Ban Danemon, which has the same story as Hinomaru Hatanosuke's other short. Eh? He dresses in similar robes as the hero here too. Was he going undercover at the start? :P I think his name 日の丸旗之助 Hinomaru Hatanosuke means something like "Flag-of-Japan's saviour" (He has the flag all over his clothes). *actually I thought Danemon appeared like a villain or anti-hero at the start of that. I wonder if the shaving of his head by the spidery people was significant...? Someone who understands, please help! |
