If my portion of anime seen ever gets lower than 10% of the database, consider me dead. |

The monkeys fly the flag of Japan, showing that they are indeed meant to portray Japan. This time period was known for Japanese propaganda cartoons, most of which monkeys are on the Japanese side, along with rabbits and birds (see: Momotarou no Umiwashi and Momotarou: Umi no Shinpei). They had to make the propaganda cartoons appealing for the kids, so they portrayed themselves as cute animals. I'm not sure how other ethnicities feel about being portrayed as monkeys. I know the U.S. isn't too fond of it because it's historically been a stereotype/derogatory type of symbolism for blacks-- along with racoons. Others might not care though since they don't really have those specific stereotypes about them. |

Pretty interesting one. The animation seemed very disney influenced, the movements were smooth for sure. The song was silly, but oh well. |

The original RAW is around 9 minutes of length and features much more animation than that. |
