Iwatani Naofumi was summoned to a parallel world along with 3 other people to become the world's Heroes. Each of the heroes respectively received their own legendary equipment when summoned with Naofumi receiving the Legendary Shield as his weapon. Due to Naofumi's lack of charisma and experience, he's labeled as the weakest, betrayed, falsely accused, and robbed by the third day of his new life as a hero. Shunned by everyone from the king to peasants, Naofumi's thoughts were filled with nothing but vengeance and hatred. Thus begins his path as the dark knight saving the kingdom in the shadows...ANIME

@Relaod hello my friend long time no see.

I'm loving the adaptation so far. I'm 6 episodes in and i'm extremely pleased..i had high expectations and i have not been disappointed. The animation quality is amazing, the music fits well (op is great)! I'm very much looking forward to the next 19 episodes.

Opinions of the adaptation so far? Was hoping it'd be more lively here when it released, but guess it's just the forums. I'll just say it didn't reach its full potential. They cut out a lot of animation for the action scenes. They're also holding back too much info from the audience. World building is very important, but then I remembered the audience is only supposed to know as much as the MC.
