Asano Inio Fan Club

Information
Inio Asano(浅野いにお ), a bona fide earthling, was born in Ibaraki, Japan in 1980. In 2001 his short story Uchuu kara Konnichiwa (Hello from Outer Space) won the 1st Sunday GX rookie prize. Asano Inio on MangaUpdates In his short career as a manga artist, Inio Asano has tackled various formats and genres–short existential vignettes, twentysomething dramas, mind-bending psycho-horror–with a delicate emotional touch and a willingness to break stodgy storytelling rules. While his body of work is not yet large enough to suffer legitimate accusations of repetition, he nonetheless announced before his latest story that he wanted to “start fresh.”

I'm reading all of his manga published in english. But after read Oyasumi Punpun, nothing looks like so great. But he's always does a good job with his storytelling unique style.

Really interesting interview with Inio Asano about the content in his manga, his opinions on the japanese market, etc.

I have read those, except Hikari no Machi. Subarashi Sekai I'm still reading. it's a collection of one-shots.

Also:
Nijigahara Holograph
Heroes (Yuusha-tachi) ...wtf, Asano?
Bakemono Recchan

I've been reading Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction (his latest work) too, but put it on hold a few months ago. I'm waiting for him to finish it or at least come close to the conclusion. too many hiatuses... like 1 chapter / month, it's kinda annoying.

Not really I have read most of his works although its been over a year since I have read any of his works. I have read of his works:

Oyasumi Punpun (read it over 4 years from mid highschool to university and was fantastic as it really allowed me to appreciate the depth of it a lot more as I lacked experience in life.

Hikari no Machi: I can't even remember what this was about but gave it an 8 so I probably should re-read this soon.

Solanin: Solid. I wish this work got the appreciation it deserved because although not as good as Punpun it still is an amazing story.

Umibe no Onnanoko: Solid manga although I felt like Solanin was everything this wanted to be.

Subarshii Sekai: Again another manga I completely can't remembered what occurred. I didn't ever rate it so I'm not sure it was obscure or went over my head when I first read it close to 3 years ago. Probably will re-read this again as its only 2 volumes.
