My name is Takamichi, and I will do my best to answer all questions. A description, provided by Wikipedia, describes the series well enough. "High school student Akane Motomiya is summoned into another world that resembles Kyoto during the Heian Period (approx. 800-1200 C.E.) to be the Ryūjin no Miko (Priestess of the Dragon God), a legendary figure who possesses the power of the gods. Akane is told that she must defend this world, called Kyō, from the encroachment of the Oni Clan before she can return home. Fortunately, she has the assistance of eight men known as the Hachiyō (Eight Leaves) in this task. Harukanaru Toki no Naka is a 26-episode long anime, based on the Koei dating Sim of the same name. In Japan, it ran on tv from October 6, 2004, to March 30 2005. The anime was successful enough that a couple of OVA's, and even a movie was produced. Currently, Shojo Beat is serializing the series under the name "Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time". It is being drawn by Tohko Mizuno. Three volumes has been released, and the manga is currently being released, chapter by chapter, in Shojo Beat Magazine. It is apart of a 7-game series, all created by Koei. The game was released on the Play Station in June, 2000, and on the Game Boy Advance in August 2002. The characters were actually all designed by Tohko Mizuno.
