Yazawa Ai Fan Club

Yazawa Ai (born March 7th, 1967), is one of the world's most renowned shoujo artists. She got her start in Ribon, but as her manga became more "mature", she decided to take her manga elsewhere. Her most famous manga, Nana, has been adapted into two successful live action movies, an anime, and that is not to mention the fact that it is the best selling shoujo manga of all time in Japan. She originally studied fashion, and even went to school for it before dropping out, and the influence is seen in her works even know. Two of her most famous manga even take place at a fashion school. She also has a flair for real life drama - her characters all seem so very real, and you can find yourself in a few of them without even looking very hard. This, combined with her way of showing real relationships have made her one of the most popular manga-ka of today.
