Speed Grapher

Information

More than 10 years have passed since the bubble economy ended. The world has polarized into wealth and poor, and Japan is not an exception. Wealth is pursing his desire and pleasure, and Tokyo has become a city of pleasure.

Saiga is a photo journalist, but he was confiscated his passport and he has to stay in Japan. One day, he is asked to cover a secret club, "Roppongi Club". It is a club which only a few selected people can join. It is said that the member can get ultimate pleasure. He manages to get in the club. Then, he meets a girl, Kagura, who asks him for help. She is manipulated by the manager, Suitengu, and she is treated as the symbol of the club. Saiga runs away with her. After that, he finds he has obtained a special ability by the encounter with her. Also, the pursuers of Roppongi Club are those who have obtained special abilities.

one of my very fav animes. one of the best endings for a anime that i have seen. its also pretty dark which is right up my alley. it deserves a lot more recognition.

by any chance would anyone know if they have stopped the manga for SG?? cause i have the first two volumes but haven't seen anything since which has been over a yr now, i can't even find other volumes to read online which is unfortunate since the manga was looking fairly diff compared to the anime

Really a brilliant anime with a very unik, good story. Red line trough it all. Love it. About moral and how sick and desperate people can be to get enough money for their lust and pleasures. showing that people even if they are poor or very rich are equal and can be as sick and dum for their desire..just epic!=)

So far, one of the best english voice acting in anime I've heard in a long time. :) This anime is love. The ending is the best ending I've seen for an anime too...! <3

hi there! I was checking the info of speed grapher here in MAL and got some questions.. does anybody know how to add "genre" because i´ve just finished watching this awesome anime and I totally think that in the description there lacks the word "Romance" don´t you think?
