To me it's pretty annoying it didn't get as big as it should have only because people think the drool thing is weird or gross, when it really isn't.

Agreed, it deserved a better ending in the manga. The anime actually I thought ended quite well.

I know there won't be a season two, im just upset the series in general wasnt ended well after having a great story throughout.

Publisher didn't want to bother with another season obviously. The manga didn't get enough of a sales boost to ever rank on the Oricon lists so the anime was likely seen as a failure by the publisher even though the discs actually sold OK. Most publishers care more about the book sales obviously and they are the ones who generally decide to make a show unless a TV station or disc distributor decides to take most of all of the cost onto themselves. The disc sales were only 3000 which is not enough to make a profit on their own so...

S2 NEVER! I'm sure I have written that about this series 100 times already but people keep their hopes up for some strange reason.

Considering how much of the manga left there is compared to the anime, they could continue a S2 and still have a good ending. Pretty weird they didn't have a S2 though.

I prefer the way the anime ended. It was quite a hopeful ending.

The manga ending was just an awful tease... made me feel like I'd wasted my time reading it. This isn't true, I really enjoyed it but man.... I hate it when they leave me hanging for a month but to leave me hanging for years and then FOREVER! Almost unforgivable.

Finishing this series along with the manga had gotten me so depressed. Maybe I shouldn't have finished both in less than three days 😔
