We hate world of warcraft

Information

Well, i decided to make this club to share my hatred of everything world-of-warcrafty after seeing a recent video on youtube about a guy who is addicted, spending up to 16 hours a day on it. I believe that WoW is the scourge of todays troubled youth and, to a certain extent, troubled adults. It provides an escape from reality which is good, up to a certain point after which it is harmful to be away from reaity for too long.
Anyhoo, just my theory, join if you want!

I haven't actually tried it myself, but since I'm highly bored at the moment and have no money to tempt me into actually buying the thing I might trial it. Hell, I was the one who played RuneScape for half of high school and that never stopped me from seeing my friends so I don't see how WoW can effect people any differently.

One by one, my entire group of friends succumbed to this game in high school. It was all they would talk about. If I wasked them to go to a movie or something, the response would always be, "Can't, raid at 7."

The game itself isn't even that great. I have played a great deal of MMOs in my day, and I see nothing special about this one. Why nobody can shut the fuck up about it is a mystery to me.

I don't necessarily hate WoW itself, just what it does to people. I have friends who started playing it and I rarely get to talk to them now =(.
