A Channel and K-ON! are both slice of life comedy anime about four girls. The characters of A Channel also might remind one of the K-ON! girls. Both series also have a lot of music in them - in K-ON! it is from the girls in their music club, and in A Channel it is in the insert songs each episode.

4 girls doing cute stuff, school setting. interestingly enough Kaori Fukuhara, who voices Tsukasa from Lucky Star, voices Run in A Channel

Higher profile all-girls anime with some but not unacceptable lesbian tendencies (yes, there are MORE obviously lesbian shows out in the wild.) A-channel is the serialized series in a less obvious girl-loves magazine Manga Time Kirara. One of my favorite magazine that also home to the even more prominent anime such as Hidamari Sketch and K-On!. The positioning of this magazine doesn't allow girl to blatantly kissing or making out, thus is pretty SFW. And A-channel is a stereotypical Manga Time Kirara's manga, and same goes in its anime adaptation. No overly lesbian action. YuruYuri is serialized in Yuri Hime magazine. With more frank title, this magazine  read more

Both are slice of life shows that have an all girl cast and are in high school. They're both comedy driven and just look at the simple things in life and both shows are based mainly on friendship, growing up and being young.

Like cute girls doing cute things? Look no further! A-Channel and Kiniro Mosaic are anime series you'll definitely find some similarities in with their themes involving cute girls at a school life environment. Rather than presenting a complex life story, they involve simple tales of these girls' every day life at school and what they do to have fun. Both series continues various dialogues that are humorous along with its character interactions.

Same kind of relaxing atmosphere and similar kind of comedy. The art also looks alike and the also seem to share some of the voicing cast. Both of them also have a character who is very clueless about the world seems to be very innocent and not to bright either. And they both focus on a group who is very close to each other and they also care very much for everyone in there group.

Cute & Fun. Light slice of life that is easy to watch.

Both animes show the everyday of cute girls.

the feel from A Channel's first ep is very similar to the feel from Hyakko. I hope they will be the same qua style in their slice of life genre since I really liked Hyakko :)

Both are slice of life anime revolving around cute girls doing cute things. A-Channel is funnier in my opinion, but both shows are enjoyable to watch, and are colorful and sweet.

Aiura and A-channel have the same appeal, simplistic, and adorable. Similar scenarios and events happen throughout each series, making them a typical slice of life. If you liked A-channel but thought it dragged on too long, Aiura is the shortened and sweeter version.

Both anime are slow-paced and are very amusing. Nichijou is a little on the more random and funnier side, whereas A Channel has a more definite theme to each episode. Both are very good, if you enjoyed A-Channel, you will most likely enjoy Nichijou as well.

Moe highschool girls friendship& comedy. While Saki is sports themed, and A-channel is slice of life one can feel some similiarities.

An anime series consisting of female protagonists. Tooru and Run's relationship is very similar to Yuu and Haruka. Tooru will do anything to be with Run. Haruka is very similar to Tooru. Very protective of their love interests. Both series involves close friendship with a group of friends.

You can't really go wrong with this two. Both based on manga from Kirara, the tasty shoujo-ai magazine for male demographic, both shows are similars in too many ways. Hidamari cast start off with four characters. The airhead, the cute, the cutely wicked ,and the cutely bullied. That's pretty much the same with A Ch. Their activities is based on schoolground, added with on-location cuteness anywhere they go, meaning their settings is exactly the same, small Kirara style world with women to men ratio 20:1. They love each other a lot. It's likely you won't see your (real 3D) lady friends express their affection for each other  read more

Both have a slice of life style and characters go to school. They also show a group of friends as the main characters in each anime.

All about cute high school girls doing cute high school girl things, but A-Channel is a slice of life comedy with a plot while Joshiraku is more random comedy.

Both series are made by the same studio, they both have a similar basis, and the protagonists are super cute and lovable, not to mention lolis as well. Both series share the comedy, school, and slice of life genre. I'm sure that if you loved Kiniro Mosaic, you'll definitely love A-Channel.

Two main girls that they focus on, both chibi-like and very different in personalities - one an airhead, the other a tomboy. Both animes are comedy with a cast made up entirely of girls in highschool.

Both focuses on a group of girls and their daily lifes. They're enjoyable to watch as well cute! A-channel revolves around a group of high school girls, while Gochuumon focuses on a group that works at a café If you enjoy one you'll likely enjoy the other!

Analyzing the life through the minds of school children, while keeping some of the zany and light-hearted moments in both of the shows. Different settings, but still a good laugh nontheless.

-Both anime tell about everyday life of cute school girls and their friendship. -Both anime actually have the same atmosphere and same genre (slice of life, comedy, and school). -Both anime take place in school (always) or other place that actually not too different.

The characters are similar, and there are yuri themes. Both shows are comedies about 4 girls at school, but Teekyuu is faster-paced and has wackier humor.

A-Channel and Non Non Biyori both contain the same genres. (Slice of Life, Seinen, Comedy, and School) The basis of both animes are near to identical. (4 friends hanging out) The main characters in Non Non Biyori are full of different personalities and maintain a cute, loli type character like A-Channel.
report Recommended by G3usts
Relaxing slice of life about a regular girl friend group (mostly simple flat characters, although A-Channel does flesh them out slightly more)-- Both are funny, A-Channel is calmer/more relaxing.

Similar school setting with 4 close friends (+ one more in KtB). Both are slice of life with unique art styles. OP sequences are also similar.

While Seitokai Yakuindomo contains more perverted humour, and A-Channel provides more cute characters. Both series are good slice of life based on 4-koma.

Light slice of life. Fun Comedy dominated by female characters.

While working provides more of a comedy and A-Channel more of cuteness. Both series are good slice of life based on 4-koma.

While Railgun provides more action & story, and A-Channel is a slice of life, they both contain 'cute girls doing cute things' content.

Moe highschool girls friendship& comedy. While Bamboo Blade is sports themed, and A-channel is slice of life one can feel some similiarities.

A-Channel makes me feel like watching continuation of Hanamaru Youchien. Anzu is Run, Hiiragi is Tooru, Koume - Yuuko.
report Recommended by Nolongerusedxx
The characters reminds me somehow these from Mitsudomoe. Also, they are "lolis", we have school issues.
report Recommended by Nolongerusedxx
Both fall into the 'slice of schoolgirls' life' category, with their easy-going paces, emphasis on character bonds, and inherent sweetness all making them a good match.

• Similar Character Designs •Similar Short Storys •About friendship and Kindness

Nice relaxing Anime with a similar style towards art and characters the comedy is also pretty similar. And both of them focus on the friendship of a group of girls. If you like one of them you might also like the other one.

Both are (really funny) comedy shows. Though SnI is mostly about a boy trying to create a Harem. Also the art is really similiar. Especially the opening in my opinion. If you liked SnI, you'll like A-Channel aswell and vice versa.

They are both easy going, have the same types of characters. The plot is secondary to the interactions between the main characters.

Both show come from Manga Time Kirara, the Mangazine of shoujo-ai. Kirara may not be a Shounen Jump (and according to manga-flavored PR called Bakuman, if you are not Shounen Jump you are not very epic) but Kirara has its own merit, and a very clear target market. It's for men who prefer manga about cute girls that love each other a lot, not gonna say lesbian but not gonna deny that either. The formula of many manga in Kirara is similar. They got cute female characters, the girls then do cute stuff, they may have different but common stereotype, and they are lesbian, or at  read more
