Naruto: Shippuuden Movie 4 - The Lost Tower

Led by Yamato, Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sai are assigned to capture Mukade, a rogue ninja who is pursuing the ancient chakra Ryuumyaku located underneath the Rouran ruins. While the Ryuumyaku has been sealed by the Fourth Hokage, the group fails to prevent Mukade from releasing its power. Consequently, a strong energy burst engulfs both Naruto and Yamato before they can escape.

As he awakens in a magnificent yet hostile kingdom, Naruto meets its young queen Saara and three Konohagakure ninjas on a top-secret mission. They reveal to him that he has time-traveled to Rouran 20 years into the past! To make matters worse, Mukade has already infiltrated the royal court, becoming the naive queen's most trusted minister under the alias Anrokuzan.

Joining forces with the three ninjas, Naruto must protect Saara's life without fail to stop the villain's plans and return to the present.

So this movie was ok, the story was was fine but that interesting when it came to hyping me up for the movie

Story 7/10- The movie seems like it takes place after Jiraiya death but before Pain's attack on the leaf and the story is basically time travel which sounds fine but I don't think it was interesting as Naruto and Yamato travel back in time to stop someone but in the end, they forgot what happens but it was cool how Naruto meets Minato even though Naruto doesn't who he is to him but like I said they do forget about what happened ... though

Art 7/10 and Sound 7/10- The art was fine nothing really bad about it, and the voice acting and sound were ok also.

Character 7/10- There only two main characters that are important in this movie and they are fine nothing really that interesting them as one of them is the villain and the other the person Naruto has been helping.

Enjoyment 7/10- The movie was ok, the story itself was fine not that good but I think the moment I liked is how Naruto and Minato were working with others to finish off the enemy which like farther and son moment.

Overall 7/10. A fine story, fine art and sound, ok characters and some good moments. This movie was fine

Mixed Feelings

The story was... Mediocre. Personally, I came into this movie with pretty high expectations, speaking of the fact that it involved Naruto and his father. But, it definitely didn't live up to my expectations. To start, the entire plot was fine, I mean it involved going into the past, Naruto seeing his father, some random new characters. That was fine. The art style was normal, maybe a little bit cleaner, but overall that stayed the same. The personalities of each character, except the new ones of course, were the same. It kinda bothered me that we didn't see more Sakura or Kakashi in the ... movie, and it really only focused on Naruto and Minato. Overall, I don't have much to say about the movie. It didn't hit my expectations but it was alright for the most part. Nothing really AMAZING happened, and it was just a simple movie. 6/10 for me. :)

It's a Naruto movie, there wasn't much to expect from this. Incredibly, it did not disappoint me, but not because it was good, but because I expected a fairly mediocre production, a cashgrab for the fans.

Much of The Lost Tower is built on the viewer knowing a little about the series. If this is not the case, you will not understand the reason for many of the characters or the dialogues.

Naruto is Naruto, there is nothing more. The real protagonist, Sara, is a flat character who they tried to give a hero's path to, but her execution was pretty bad. The villain, as is customary ... in Naruto productions, makes others feel sad and boring in a way I couldn't even imagine; The guy had four transformations and each one of them was the same as the previous one only bigger. Hilarious.
