There aren't any reviews for this anime and I honestly enjoyed it a lot, so I guess I'll give my brief opinion.
Fantastisa Stella is a 3 episode sports anime featuring soccer (or football if you aren't American) and it has all the basic elements to make a sports anime, but it didn't have the time. There are only 3 episodes so ~60 minutes to get a whole tournament and if you know anything about anything about sports anime, it's this: one tournament usually equals about 5-6 episodes. 3 minimum if they're really trying to be fast. (laugh) So unfortunately, FS did not have this luxury
...
and the competition is cut short to just the bare bone.
Despite this however, I really enjoyed watching it. I thought the music was great, the cast was likable, and there's that element of un-realism that most sports anime possess that is somehow really enjoyable, and I would have liked to see these characters more because I thought there was a lot of potential. There was a good dynamic, all things aside, and it's too bad despite its low score.
I dunno, man. I shit talk a lot, but I really have nothing against the show.

First things first, I write this review out of mere spite and am thoroughly disappointed with this season, so I'm going to be brief. Six episodes of the fourth season of Hell Girl are completely new and in every way a "Hell Girl" worthy episode. The last six on the other hand, are RECAPS from seasons 1, 2, and 3. Except for short 2-3 minute skits in the beginning of each episode, the episodes that follow that are copy and pasted from early seasons and are not worth watching. I have a very good memory and I can say with confidence that these episodes are
...
the same down to the T.
The series should have stopped by episode six because this is the last one with exposition relevant to this season and the fact that they(the studio) had to rely on old episodes to make that 12-episode contract work is the lowest of the low.
I would have been okay with rewatching the episodes with the new Hell Girl replacing Ai, but unfortunately they couldn't even be bothered to do that and so this concludes my review.
(Based on the first 6 episodes)

Really "hot" nerds, cool character designs, AWESOME scenes.... And your typical e-sport anime. Quanzhi Gaoshou is one of my favorite current animes, yet I have to rate it fairly.
Story (7/10):
Nothing particularly fantastic or special happens; it's literally a show about playing an MMORPG and very little of anything else. I only give it a 7 (70%, -C on an American grading scale) because it's better than most e-sport anime I've watched, but nothing especially deep. The story is very straight forward and honestly, some of it feels kind of rushed because at a lot of moments I couldn't really understand the reasoning behind certain points
...
and I think if I read more of the light novel then MAYBE I could understand better, but most likely not. (I've read about 40 or so chapters but I'd already surpassed what I'd read by like, episode 2).
It wasn't like Sword Art Online, which is to say, it stayed fairly consistent throughout the series and didn't devolve into another harem anime, yet it also lacks that feeling of desperation that SAO has, so it's basically just a story about hard core gamers and nothing else.
Art (9/10)
Easily a 9 out of 10. Quanzhi Gaoshuo has some of the smoothest and most consistent scenes I've ever seen. The colors are nice and vivid and the choreography is really impressive for an anime.
Sound (8/10):
I don't watch a lot of Chinese/Taiwanese anime so I'm not a good judge on voice acting, but it didn't seem unusual or poorly done in any way and the soundtrack fit the series.
Character (5/10)
Not a lot going on here. You've got your characters, and that's it. There's not really much in terms of character development and the personalities are pretty basic. You know very little about any of the characters other than what is portrayed in the series and backstory is a moot point. The problem is that Ye Xiu is already the top gamer, so there's no where left for him to go but down (which, while admirable in its own right, isn't exactly TV show quality) and that obviously isn't an option, so he pretty much pwns anyone without breaking a sweat.
Enjoyment (8/10)
I really enjoy Quanzhi Gaoshou and the way they portray Glory. I thought the scenes were interesting but between those there would just be short "exposition" scenes that didn't really move the story and were kind of boring at some points. I enjoy it immensely compared to other e-sports anime I've seen, but as another show it isn't much. I'm in a very strict frame of mind to take things at face value, so for me, watching sports anime gets boring because I'm constantly thinking, "it's just a game," and I have a hard time getting into it. Believe me, I do my fair share of gaming, but I'm not so much of a gamer that I would take it as seriously as pro gamers might.
Overall (8/10)
You don't really watch Quanzhi Gaoshou for the plot, you watch it for the art style and unique choreography. I got into the series through reading the "unofficial" manga first, and then the web novel and I've stuck with it mostly for the exact reasons listed above. MMORPG based anime don't really interest me, but I enjoy Quanzhi Gaoshou enough to write a short review and recommend it for, if nothing else, some eye-candy and something a little out of your ordinary paradigm. It's really too bad it ended before it began; I can't wait to see the live-action that's coming out 2018 and I will definitely be waiting for season 2. :D

I'm honestly not sure what I expected out of watching this; nothing really, I suppose. I just decided to watch because I was going through another user's list and the name caught my eye.
I'm one of those immature fools whose attention can be easily caught by lame words like "shit" and well, guess what my little eye caught onto when I saw "Shitcom." So, I was curious. I wondered, "Shit as in English shit" or "shit because it's the Japanese translation of "sitcom" since there's no "si" noise in Japanese.
And the video was only a minute so I thought, what's the harm?
Well... Let
...
me tell you... A LOT of harm. I looked the video up on YouTube and liteally spent the whole time trying to figure out if I'd found the right one. To my horror, I did. Frankly, other than for having a Japanese director, I'm not sure why this is on MyAnimeList at all since it's claymation...
And let me tell you that it is exactly as promised.
Shit.
Ah well, at least it was only a minute of my life. I think I can rest peacefully tonight knowing I've opened up my horizons to a new all time low.

I don't care what most of the people reviewing this anime say people say.
But this series and its reviews claiming how "deep" and "profound" it is has made me so mad, that I've come to write a review warning people to stay away. I make it a point to not drop anime and try finishing every one that I start until the bitter end, even if I have to pull my hair at the roots to see it through but I honestly, could not for the life of me, complete Serial Experiments Lain. I gave it until about episode 7 before I thought I
...
should start skimming and then by episode 8 my patience was virtually non-existent and I just skipped to the last episode and even then I stopped watching completely.
The plot is slow and what little "drama" they have is forced. Questions are skirted around and none of the characters are likable or have even close to anything such as a personality. There were often scenes that left me wondering, "what was the point of this?" and a lot of them honestly didn't have one. What could have been a quasi-interesting mini-series ended up being way too long and drawn out and really wasn't as interesting as its summary leads on to be.
So overall, I can't really say much else because I didn't care for any aspect of it, and the only piece of advice I have to give is this: if you're into pretentious shows that attempt but fail to portray an existential crisis then, by all means watch Serial Experiments Lain.
If you came to watch, expecting a psychological, semi-horror anime that focuses on a girl who is receiving mysterious messages from a classmate who recently commit suicide then... Be ready to be very, very disappointed.

If you thought Sword Art Online was bad, you'll think it's a complete masterpiece by the time you get through just one episode of Accel World. I watched the series almost 2 years ago but I've had this unfinished review sitting in my Gmail account all this time and I thought I'd do myself a favor by finally getting rid of it. Agree to disagree if you want.
I wrote pretty much wrote the entire review after I watched the series so I'm currently just revising what I wrote. The scathing harshness of my words drip like poison. This is basically a very long, salty rant.
TL;DR
Story
...
(3/10) - Poor:
I wasn't all that surprised when I found out Accel World was done by the same author as SAO because the overall traits are the same. Advanced technology that can make fighting games feel like reality and a ton of generic cute girls all going for the main character. The only difference is that this main character is beyond unrealistic in terms of looks, has absolutely no backbone, and zero redeeming qualities. Also, apparently, losing one's privileges in a game is about the same as being executed in real life. Having privileges in said game gives you magic powers to control reality (or something.)
Overall, Accel World is full of complete nerds who want to escape reality. In all honesty, I don't feel that AW sends out the right "message" to the audience because it basically tells you that reality can be escaped, video games will solve all your problems and reality doesn't mean squat.
Art (8/10) - Very Good:
Despite Haruyuki's appearance, I must admit that AW's art is genuinely good. The colors are soft and the use of it is also not bad. Some of the fight scenes are really well choreographed and I found them interesting in a lot of ways so, kudos in those regards.
Sound (7/10) - Good:
Attack on Titan called, they want Eren Jaeger back. At some times, I could totally tell it was Kaji Yuuki voicing Haruyuki, at others, well.... He just sounded like a really whiny baby. In terms of voice acting, the AW's do as well as any other. Soundtrack is good, but I feel that sometimes the sound effects overrode the other sounds at certain points. It wasn't that the voice acting was poor, II'm just so bitter and spiteful that I can't even rate the easiest category the score it [might] deserve.
Character (2/10) - Dreadful:
I've seen many a complex character in my day, but never have I come across one like Haruyuki. He's got absolutely zero charm, is a cry baby, a chibi, and obscenely obese. To top it off, he looks like a chibi piglet (just like his avatar) and I'm pretty sure even puberty can't solve his problems. The author of AW literally gives no break to Haruyuki's physical problems. Now then, if you can imagine all that, good. Now imagine the most "kawaii gorgeous beautiful" girl in an anime (at least according to this universe) actually having a crush on the character mentioned previously and getting jealous over him if one girl even sticks one toe towards his direction
Now, it's not that Haruyuki is a crybaby that's a turn off or that he's shorter than a five year old or even that he's obese because it isn't really the looks that turns a person off to them (although it can be a major factor). It's the fact that he's all of this, makes no attempt to correct any of it, still gets the chicks and isn't even all that nice. This is the power of the harem genre, friends.
I will admit, he has shown a certain amount of "valor" but for what, a video game? True, I understand these "video games" are advanced enough to feel like reality, but no matter how real it may feel, it isn't and treating it as anything than such is beyond wrong. Now, I could understand how with Haruyuki's shortcomings he might want to escape reality but pretty much everyone else in the series has no excuse.
Enjoyment (1/10) - Pathetic:
I literally could not finish the series sooner. By the end of the season, I'd almost completely stopped paying attention and truth be told- I have no idea how it ended. Just that it did and I was praising /God/ that my brain cells were spared.
I'm Agnostic, which means I don't even really believe in God. This is how grateful I was.
Overall (2/10) - Dreadul:
Don't get me wrong, I love my video games and I would totally support virtual reality if it existed, but AccelWorld takes things beyond what is realistically believable even in this universe. AW offers nothing new and is pretty much your average harem in a nutshell. I enjoyed SAO more than AW.
This is literally the harshest review I've ever shared. Or, actually one of two.
But this is my personal best- worst review.

Because I'm Chinese-American, I've always had a connection to Chinese culture however, never have I really been interested in the Chinese "anime." I started reading Chinese light novels such as Quan Zhi Gao Shou (waiting for the anime this month!) but other than that, not much else. Recently however, I was impressed by Shuangsheng Lingtan and decided that I wanted to see what Chinese anime is like. So, I picked Ling Qi by random (I think it's recommended if you like Shuangsheng Lingtan) and started watching. I was not disappointed at all.
Story (7/10) - Good: The story is not particularly fascinating or unique, however the
...
way the characters are portrayed made it worth following. I liked seeing some of the Chinese traditions and customs to honor the dead/death. There were some points where I felt like I'd missed something though. A character would mention something and events would take a direction that seemed like it came from nowhere even though I'd given it my full attention. Whether this is me just being stupid or the story actually missing pieces is something you can decide for yourself.
Art (8/10) - Very Good:
The colors are nice and vibrant and the shading seems more in depth than in most anime. I was impressed by the detail that was put into it and the special effects were great. Every so often though there were some minor problems with continuity; sometimes certain details would be omitted but then reappear later. Overall though the coloring felt more sophisticated than typical anime.
Sound (8/10) - Very Good:
Since this is technically the first Chinese anime I've watched (completed) then I don't have much experience with judging Chinese voice acting, but basing it off what I hear in Japanese voice acting then I'd say they're pretty consistent. I didn't hear anything I thought was particularly awful to say in the least. The soundtrack was cool for sure though. If there is one thing that can surpass language and culture barriers, it's music and I really enjoyed Ling Qi's soundtrack.
Character (8/10): Honestly, I liked all the characters and how they were portrayed. There were a lot of silly moments that were just kind of nice to see and it didn't ruin the story or break the pace. It felt natural and seemed fitting for the show. If I could see this same cast in another season, I don't think I'd mind.
Enjoyment (9/10) - Great: For my first completed Chinese anime, I had a lot of fun watching and comparing it to Japanese anime and it's fun to see and compare the cultural differences. I've been trying to branch out into other anime media such as manwha (the Korean webcomics) and manhua (Chinese manga) and I plan on continuing and learning more about Northeastern Asian culture from every point. Even though a lot of it may be romanticized.
Overall (7/10) - Good:
Ling Qi isn't the best show I've ever seen and I wouldn't say it particularly stands out from anything I've ever watched but it's still enjoyable. I wouldn't call the series "deep" or poignant in any way, but there were moments that were very touching and I recommend watching it for a quick source of fun. Even though I give it an average score (to me- 7=70%/C/Good), I actually do think very highly of it.
As a quick side note though, it is worth knowing that Ling Qi is considered a shounen ai (homosexual romance). There is nothing "heavy" or explicit, but it is apparent that the main characters have romantic feelings for each other and is implied and shown in a few ways. I, myself, actually did not find out about this fact until after I'd already started the series. I'm not against shounen ai at all, but it isn't exactly a genre that I pursue or have at the top of my priority list. There's nothing too explicit like in Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi or Junjou Romantica, but if the topic makes you you uncomfortable even in the slightest, then it might not be the show for you. (You're missing out though.)
Bonus: Oh yeah, there is one Attack on Titan (ep 7) reference and one Sailor Moon (16 ep) reference so if you find sightings/references of other shows funny, you'd most likely be amused by it.

"People aren't as complex as you think they are. They're simple, and they get sad or angry over simple things. That's just how they are."
I'm not going to try to summarize Death Parade because I'm sure there are more than enough reviews doing that already but I will briefly relay my opinions for Story, Art, Sound, Character, Enjoyment and Overall.
Story (7/10):
No anime is perfect and it is inevitable that you will come across plot holes and conveniences and Death Parade is no different. There was always at least 1 or 2 moments per episode where I would find myself asking "how does this make sense?"
...
yet perhaps this is expected when an anime explores such thought provoking concepts. While there are some points that I question, the overall story had a satisfying conclusion and it was wrapped up cleanly.
Art (9/10):
From the get-go the colors were absolutely gorgeous and it was during the finale that I finally decided to give it a well-earned 9. The colors are vibrant and gorgeous and really sets the mood nicely. It was also during the finale when I was stunned by the style and fluidity of everything and really appreciated the series as a whole.
Sound (10/10):
Only to be expected from some of the best (Japanese) voice actors. Their emotions and the sound of their voices really sets the mood. I can give nothing but the highest of praise. The soundtrack also gave it a unique touch and I found some in particular to be extraordinary.
Character (6/10):
Despite the intriguing story and the various characters presented in Death Parade, I did find the main cast to be rather lacking. The show mainly focuses on the various "customers" that come to Quindecim and less on the actual cast. Perhaps it's to be expected since the series is only 12 episodes long but I would have liked to see even more of the characters and learned more about them. While I was satisfied with the attention they give to the "Black-haired woman", I can honestly say I felt very little attachment towards anyone else. Perhaps if they were to have a few bonus episodes exploring these characters my opinion might change, but not until then.
Enjoyment (8/10): I enjoyed it so much I managed to get my lazy ass to write a review.
Overall (8/10):
Death Parade will undoubtedly have you yo-yoing (is that a verb?) between what you think is right and wrong and how you think judgement should be passed. I have seen a lot of anime, but Death Parade is definitely the first of its kind that I have seen and I honestly suggest watching it. For an anime that originated from a short animation project, Death Parade traveled a long way and had a very interesting journey with a very satisfying end.
I don't often recommend these kinds of anime to get a second season because they tend to stray from their initial impression, however, should there ever be one you will most definitely find me watching it.

Let me just start off by saying that I am a HUGE Sengoku BASARA fan. Like, seriously big. I have all the video games including all the games that haven't been translated into English, I have several of the manga spin offs both in English and Japanese, I have the whole anime series AND I even have a freaking Date Masamune cell phone charm, So when I say I'm a mega-BASARA freak, I'm not kidding. Pretty much the only things I don't have are action figures (because they creep me out in general) and maybe a few miscellaneous items such as the alarm clock, stickers,
...
etc. It's pretty much a mania borderlining obsession (and a little embarrassing in all honesty).
So, with all that said, I absolutely adore Sengoku BASARA but I was completely disappointed by the third season.
*Note: this review may include spoilers
Story (4/10):
BASARA has never been a historically accurate series and it's obvious to people who didn't even know it was supposed to be historical fiction in the first place, however, in my opinion I feel that it was this inaccuracy that gave BASARA its charm. I've had a lot of fun with this series watching it and then Googling everything to see how much is true and I've learned a lot of interesting facts about Japan's Sengoku period.
Season one was by FAR the best in the series, but slowly but surely I found that it was starting to lose its charm as they continued making seasons. The story started losing quality until it got to season three, which was definitely one of the poorest written storyline I've seen, which is really saying something considering how much anime I haven't liked but have forced myself to watch.
During season three, I felt like I was watching a really badly written fanfiction and I just couldn't get into this plot. There was a lot of, not quite "fan service", but a lot of fluff that didn't make sense in the overall story and it was just BAD. It really pains me to say this, but I was not impressed by season three (obviously). It just seemed to have lost the novelty that it started out with.
It basically said, "none of season 1 or 2 or even the movie happened, so this is the new story" and then retold the whole series in a completely different, unappealing way. I mean, for God's sake, there were ZOMBIES in the finale. WHERE did that even come from? It made really no sense in any way. (Although I will admit, I do have a slight interest in zombies and kind of briefly wondered what it would be like to see the BASARA cast fighting them.... But you didn't hear that from me.)
I get that it was trying to follow game 3's storyline, but it just wasn't executed well. I think if they really wanted to use the third game' story, they should have picked it up from the end of season 2 again and fixed BASARA's Last Party into a more coherent series.
Art (6/10):
I'm not quite sure why BASARA switched from Production I.G (animation company that produced all the seasons up 'til now) to Telecome Animation Studio, but it shouldn't have. While T.A.S uses really nice, vivid colors unlike I.G studios, the style is just too different and a lot of times I felt that the proportions looked really awkward or not realistic.
With the different style too, even though it was the same characters, after seeing the same style for two seasons and a movie this season looked like a fan drew the whole thing in an attempt to look like the original.
Sound (9/10):
I will say the sound was as nice as ever. BASARA does make a point of getting all the "big seiyuu" and they're all really good at what they do (duh). I was really glad that none of the voices changed, especially from game to anime (I mean the Japanese cast). All the voices from the game got their respective roles in the anime, so that was really good.
The soundtrack this time round was aslo really different in style, but it kind of worked out anyway. Hiroyuki Sawano is an amazing composer and I'm disappointed I didn't get to hear his music this time round, but Masahiro Tokuda is not one to be under-estimated either and has a very cool, unique style that seemed to fit.
Character (5/10):
I felt that all the characters seemed too OOC (out of character) and none of it felt "right". I am glad that this season included some of the characters from the third BASARA game (brand new characters at the time) but on the other hand, I think that with all the new characters, they kind of took away from the "original" cast like Masamune, Yukimura, etc.
In addition to this, there is one brief moment when Masamune and Yukimura are talking alone, and it felt kind of like they were on a date and I was watching a shounen-ai or something. I mean, BASARA has always had a "man-crush" kind of theme like, "respect thy rival" and all that, but this was just too much and WAY overdone.
Enjoyment (5/10):
None of the characters made sense and it was kind of hard to like them, and this is coming from someone who has played all the games and seen the anime at least 3 times. I just couldn't get into this season, and I pretty much consider it the "ba****d" season of the show because I refuse to accept it.
I think the overall reason that I disliked this season was because it was so different from everything that already came out. I'm kind of orthodox that way; I hate change and I hate things that change drastically - which is how I would describe season three in the nicest way possible.
Overall: (6/10)
Overall, even despite my BASARA mania, I REALLY couldn't get into this season and I honestly don't recommend it. If you don't want your image of the BASARA cast shattered into a million tiny pieces or if you liked the original story and cast the way they were, AVOID THIS SEASON AT ALL COSTS.
Go back to season one, is my suggestion.

It is a sad day in the forest when a kid can't recognize his own father who looks EXACTLY like him when he has outrageously yellow, spiked hair just like him. This is the tale of Naruto and the Lost Tower in a nutshell.
*Note: This review may include a few spoilers.
Story (1/10):
The plot makes absolutely no sense and has little purpose other than for Naruto to meet his father and completely misunderstand it, as his head is too thick to even consider the fact that the guy with the exact same haircut gave him his gene pool. I'm only going to assume that this plot
...
takes place before Naruto knows that the fourth Hokage was his dad because he did manage to piece that together, but nothing else.
Another thing he obviously couldn't figure out was that the girl he meets back in the present at the ruins of the tower is the daughter of the princess he'd met in the past. She is also an obvious reincarnation that Naruto never pieced together and the third strike against him is that I'm not even sure if he recognized Kakashi, who appears to him as a child (also looking no different than present-day Kakashi).
My only conclusion is that Naruto has Capygras syndrome or suffers from severe retardation.
Art (5/10):
Overall, the art isn't bad. The animation is fluid and there are some pretty good effects added. The fights did get somewhat boring by the end as they followed the same shounen guideline of "get your ass kicked until the very last second in which we FINALLY turn the tables because our time is up".
Sound (4/10):
During a lot of the action scenes the sound effects overrided what little voice was going on at the same time. The only good thing about their sound was Toshiyuki Morikawa, and that is only in my opinion.
Character (1/10):
No character development what-so-ever. The princess (female lead) is your generic kind of girl who dislikes Naruto so far as to slap him several times after saving her life in the beginning to promising to never forget their encounter and telling him about how he changed her life at the end. Also, she has a daughter who meets Naruto and briefly and obviously talks about Princess Sara for the audience to realize who her mother was. Their designs aren't creative because they both look like Karen without her glasses.
Also, the villian is your typical "I will destroy the world and you can't stop me until the end" kind of character, and about 80% of his script includes screaming "Sara!" (the princess), 15% includes monologues of taking over the universe or about being invincible, and the last 5% is miscellaneous crap that isn't even noteworthy.
As I raged about earlier, my other criticism was how Naruto can't recognize even the most obvious of obvious.
Enjoyment (2/10):
By 10 minutes through the movie I was constantly checking the timer to see how much longer this torture would go on and I was constantly face palming at everything Naruto didn't notice, which was EVERYTHING. The only reason it didn't get a one out of ten is, again, because Toshiyuki Morikawa is one of my favorite voice actors AND lucky for Naruto, I have seen many an anime that exceeds even this poor quality in terms of crappiness.
Overall: (3/10)
A complete waste of 85 minutes, 40 of which were spent defeating the bad guy. I don't recommend it to even the biggest of Naruto fans. To be honest, this movie wasn't much different than the plot and cast from the first Shippuden movie.
