Synopsis

It is the new year, which means that the senior members of the Light Music Club are now third-years, with Azusa Nakano being the only second-year. The seniors soon realize that Azusa will be the only member left once they graduate and decide to recruit new members. Despite trying many methods of attracting underclassmen—handing out fliers, bringing people into the clubroom, and performing at the welcoming ceremony—there are no signs of anyone that plans to join.

While heading to the clubroom, Azusa overhears Yui Hirasawa say that the club is fine with only five people and that they can do many fun things together. Changing her mind, she decides that they do not need to recruit any members for the time being.

K-On!! revolves around the members of the Light Music Club as they experience their daily high school life. From rehearsing for concerts to just messing around, they are ready to make their last year together an exciting one!

K-on's second season and somehow manages to top the first season.

Everything about the second season is just as good as the first with some famous moments occurring within (such as the strawberry incident.) Being a slice of life anime it very much delivered upon that fact giving us 27 new slice of life episodes for us to experience. Somehow they made something so simple as the daily lives of Ho-kago tea time become emotional towards the end and it made many people tear up. It very much adds onto the elements of season one and gives us an extended story and shows us what their ...

K-On!! is the 2nd season of the anime and it pretty much adds more of what was seen in the previous season but with the added dread of the seniors of the club graduating that is apparent from the first few episodes of the 2nd season. There's more of tea and cakes, more of music, more of the cast just interacting and doing extra stuff that includes the school and not just the club itself to make it more lively.

While the 1st season's timeline goes fairly fast, the 2nd season takes advantage of all the episodes to bake something that leads towards to the graduation ...

You know, I was hoping that a show about 5 girls in a band would feature a little more, I don't know, MUSIC? All these little fuckers do is sit around, eat cake and faff around with the pet turtle. I get that most people's enjoyments comes from these light-hearted interactions but did we really need 39 episodes of this? In those 40 episodes these girls can manage to come up with about 4 different songs over 3 years of being a band. Though you wouldn't know this considering they play the same fucking song any time that god forbid somebody bothers the music club ...
